Performs mechanical analysis of static and rotating metallic or composite hardware, including blade dynamics, rotor dynamics, elasticity, heat transfer, and hot-section behavior. Uses Siemens NX, Teamcenter, and ANSYS for modeling, drafting, and simulation. Supports cost reduction, customer proposals, project management, cross-functional coordination, and solutions for complex production-engineering issues.

Develop and optimize manufacturing methods, processes, tooling, equipment specifications, BOMs, routings, process flows, line balances, manufacturing plans, and work instructions. Support manufacturing readiness reviews and engineering builds, evaluate process improvements, estimate labor, troubleshoot production issues, and ensure compliance with AS9100, safety, and quality standards while supporting Operations.

Support and improve the Quality Management System across manufacturing operations. Develop inspection plans and acceptance criteria, manage nonconformances, RMAs, corrective actions, supplier quality issues, and quality documentation. Lead root cause analysis, support risk-based controls and continuous improvement, ensure compliance with customer and industry standards, provide quality-process training, and assist with calibration and measurement system management.

Supports manufacturing operations by assisting skilled labor, performing routine assembly, preparing and kitting materials, packing and shipping components, cleaning parts for painting, maintaining shop cleanliness, and completing light facility maintenance. The role requires basic mechanical aptitude, willingness to learn, a high school diploma or equivalent, and forklift training certification.

Develops and manages complex equipment proposals for simulation and test systems. Responsibilities include meeting sales targets, assessing customer requirements, recommending technical solutions, developing pricing, building customer and partner relationships, executing territory growth strategies, supporting proposals with engineering and operations teams, attending industry events, and maintaining sales records. The role requires approximately 25% travel and serves defense, aerospace, automotive, and consumer product laboratory markets.

Lead design, build, and test of micro-turbine and turbo-generator systems. Perform mechanical design and analysis of static and rotating hardware, run ANSYS structural/rotor-dynamics/thermal analyses, use Siemens Teamcenter and NX for modeling and PLM management, drive NPI and project delivery from proposal through qualification and production support, collaborate with SMEs, prioritize resources, and provide technical guidance to management.

Design and develop aerospace power systems and power electronics from proposal through production: create MATLAB/Simulink models, schematic capture and PCB layout, select components, develop firmware, perform integration, testing, validation, troubleshooting, and produce engineering documentation.
