Support Intensive Outpatient Treatment Support Services by co-facilitating group therapy, delivering psychoeducation, documenting client interactions, shadowing supervisors, engaging in supervision, and developing clinical assessment and intervention skills.

Supports case managers by coordinating services, connecting clients with community resources, conducting intake and referral outreach, advocating for clients, assisting with service planning, and engaging individuals in achieving case management goals. The intern works collaboratively with agency staff, communicates with referral sources, follows program and regulatory requirements, and learns evidence-based practices while serving adults in Gloucester and Cape May Counties.

Supports Intensive Family Support Services by observing client interactions, assisting with engagement, attending family support meetings, coordinating with providers, delivering culturally competent care, and assessing client needs. The intern collaborates with internal and external system partners to help families of individuals with mental illness access responsive support and services.

Manage full-cycle recruitment for behavioral health programs: partner with hiring managers, source and screen candidates, handle offers and onboarding, maintain ATS/HRIS data and recruitment metrics, ensure compliance with employment laws, deliver hiring training, and support HR initiatives and internship recruitment.

Provides office management and administrative support for the Adolescent Substance Use Recovery Initiative, including managing consumer records/EHR, handling referrals and authorizations, coordinating communications, maintaining documentation and insurance requirements, supporting leadership and meetings, and ensuring policy compliance and accurate reporting.

Provide case management and supportive services to families with housing instability. Maintain a caseload of 10-12 families, conduct in-home therapeutic sessions, link clients to community and medical resources, co-facilitate groups, document care plans, and collaborate with DCP&P and community providers to promote family stability and self-sufficiency.

Manage onboarding and HR operations including maintaining compliance and personnel files, monthly audits and KPIs, I-9 verification, HRIS data entry (preferably Workday), employment verifications, license tracking, respond to HR inquiries, and support recruiting, benefits, absence, and team initiatives for a behavioral health organization.

Provide peer-based crisis support using lived experience to engage, de-escalate, educate, and connect individuals and families to resources. Complete referrals and linkages, document communications, follow program policies, and, if qualified, perform crisis intervention, assessment, outreach, and hotline coverage under supervision.

Support Family Success Center operations by assisting with event preparation and facilitation, participant engagement, administrative tasks (copying, printing, documentation), social media support, and maintaining program records. Provide general office assistance and help staff deliver community services. Unpaid internship for current bachelor-level students; may be used for academic credit.

Lead and manage the Supportive Visitation Services program: supervise and develop clinical staff, ensure compliance and accurate documentation/billing, oversee caseloads and scheduling, collaborate with community and system partners, use PQI data to improve outcomes, and manage budgets, training, and program operations.

Support daily program operations by performing administrative tasks, data entry, participant record maintenance, phone support, event planning/setup, community outreach, and workshop assistance under the Program Director's supervision.

Provide individualized dual-disorder treatment (individual and group) for consumers with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. Conduct symptom assessment, crisis intervention, medication support collaboration, wellness and relapse prevention planning, and documentation. Participate in daily team meetings, on-call crisis coverage, use evidence-based practices (CBT, MI, psychoeducation), complete PACT training, and meet program contractual and regulatory requirements.

Provide intensive, community-based vocational support and job coaching to adults with serious mental illness as part of a multidisciplinary PACT team. Deliver hands-on vocational training, assist with job placement and employer engagement, accompany clients to appointments and community activities, and complete timely documentation to support client recovery and community integration.

Serve as finance liaison to program operations, leading budgeting, forecasting, variance and grant compliance reporting. Provide financial analysis, scenario modeling, and recommendations to improve fiscal efficiency while supporting long-term financial planning and timely external reporting for assigned program portfolios.

Manage and supervise therapists, counselors, and a program supervisor implementing the Functional Family Therapy model. Provide in-home FFT services to a small caseload, oversee staff supervision, productivity, reporting, and adherence to evidence-based practices. Coordinate with FFT LLC consultant, participate in meetings/trainings, maintain on-call responsibilities, and build community partnerships to advance program quality and outcomes.

Support community outreach, marketing, and event coordination for the Family Success Center. Engage community members at events, build partner relationships, create promotional materials, and provide administrative support to connect families with resources.

Support daily program operations through administrative tasks, data entry, participant record maintenance, event support, community outreach, and general office assistance to ensure efficient service delivery.

Provide Medicaid billing and documentation support: ensure Medicaid enrollment, review charts for billing readiness, manage monthly data collection/tracking/reporting, coordinate EHR and data systems with DCF, collaborate with finance/RCM to resolve discrepancies, assist with audits, handle referrals and communications, and maintain compliance and accurate records.

Provide targeted, face-to-face case management for individuals transitioning from hospital to community, including assessment, treatment and discharge planning, linkage to resources (housing, substance use treatment, employment, primary care), documentation, crisis on-call support, and collaboration with clinicians and community partners to ensure client stability and program compliance.

Coordinate and manage individualized care plans for clients, collaborate with providers and families, monitor progress, advocate for client needs, maintain accurate documentation, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide case management for programs supporting homelessness, substance use, or youth based on program assignment.
