Originates and closes SBA 7(a) loans up to $350,000 by developing referral partnerships, managing pipelines, and cultivating business-owner relationships. Performs preliminary financial analysis, structures loans under SBA and internal credit guidelines, and collaborates with underwriting and credit teams. Builds networks across healthcare, food and beverage, trade, and manufacturing industries while achieving production and revenue goals. Represents the organization at networking events and serves as a trusted financing advisor to borrowers and referral partners.

Leads operational and customer-facing functions across lending and credit union services. Establishes performance standards, manages operational data, resolves escalations, improves workflows, implements automation, oversees vendors, and strengthens controls. Leads managers and distributed teams, manages budgets and workforce capacity, partners cross-functionally on technology initiatives, and ensures priorities translate into measurable, sustained execution.

Monitors New Markets Tax Credit projects by collecting borrower reports, reviewing financial statements and covenants, assessing risk, reviewing construction draws, and preparing investor and regulatory reports. Supports project screening, loan closings, post-closing orientation, impact surveys, document management, advisory board meetings, and process improvements. The role also coordinates deadlines and communications with borrowers, investors, consultants, and partner organizations.
