Lead and sustain site continuous improvement initiatives to improve process reliability, reduce waste, and increase productivity. Facilitate improvement events, train and coach teams, analyze operational data, standardize work, and report performance and cost savings. Partner with operations leadership, conduct on-site observations, and manage direct reports to embed CI culture across the facility.

Provide technical application support for HVAC controls to reps, engineers, and contractors; analyze specifications, perform controls testing and advanced troubleshooting, produce quotes, deliver training, and collaborate on product improvements. Travel is expected.

Execute, review, and approve R&D testing of HVAC products in psychrometric chambers. Coordinate with project engineers and lab technicians, ensure test readiness and calibration, analyze test data against DOE/ASHRAE/ASME/ISO standards, manage BOMs, and run short projects to support the R&D testing laboratory.

Develops and modifies PLC/DDC control software and electrical control hardware for commercial HVAC products. Writes product specifications and sequences, tests software, designs control wiring and protection, provides technical support and field start-up, leads engineering projects, and coordinates ECNs with production and applications teams.

Join copper/brass components using torch, induction, or furnace brazing to produce assemblies that meet engineering and production standards. Prepare parts, select filler metals/flux, read blueprints, inspect joints, maintain equipment, record production data, follow safety and PPE requirements, and participate in 5S/Lean initiatives.

Provide commercial finance support for pricing, revenue, and margin performance. Build financial models, analyze bookings/backlog/shipments, prepare reporting and forecasts, perform variance analysis, support pricing and sales decisions, and deliver ad-hoc business cases to align commercial strategy with financial outcomes.

Plan and schedule manufacturing production to meet customer ship dates. Coordinate with Customer Service, Engineering, Purchasing, and Production to resolve shortages, adjust schedules, release and close work orders, and communicate delays or premium orders. Maintain production flow, follow scheduling policies, and provide timely feedback.

Supervise and coordinate an electrical design team developing parametric CAD models and assemblies for HVAC equipment. Review schematics, integrate electrical systems with other disciplines, support prototypes and production launches, mentor designers, and ensure compliance with safety standards. Support engineering analyses including DFMEA/PFMEA, CFD, FEA, and seismic evaluations.

Lead and execute site continuous improvement projects to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and stabilize processes. Facilitate problem solving, training, and improvement events; develop standardized work; analyze performance metrics; ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements; and collaborate with leadership and frontline teams to implement sustainable corrective actions.

Design and develop HVAC equipment models and assemblies using CAD. Produce conceptual and detailed drawings, update existing designs, create BOMs, troubleshoot production issues, process orders in SPAS, collaborate with engineers and management, and travel to manufacturing sites as needed.

Design and develop hardware and PCB layouts for microcontroller-based building automation and control systems. Collaborate with embedded engineers, contract manufacturers, purchasing, and test teams to validate designs, troubleshoot production failures, develop packaging, maintain certifications (UL, Title 24), and produce technical documentation.

Lead supplier quality program: develop standards and metrics, perform audits and supplier qualification, analyze performance, drive corrective actions, manage Quality Analysts, and present KPIs to leadership.

Embedded on-site plant FP&A leader supporting Plant Director and functional leaders. Owns plant budgeting, driver-based forecasting, KPI dashboards, variance/root-cause analysis, margin and inventory performance, and capex reporting. Partners with Cost Accounting, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Internal Audit to ensure SOX-aware controls. Leads a small plant finance team, drives cost-reduction initiatives, and serves as an SAP power user to improve reporting and decision support.

Design and develop new and modified HVAC equipment and prototypes, produce CAD models and simulations, support DFMEA/PFMEA, CFD/FEA and seismic testing, create BOMs and cost estimates, oversee mechanical designers, coordinate ECNs, and ensure compliance with UL/CE/NEC/IBC/NFPA codes. Provide production support and occasional field travel.

Supervise daily production floor operations: schedule work, coordinate with other supervisors, track production/time/costs, request materials/repairs, prepare shift reports, enforce policies, and drive quality and process improvements while maintaining safety and attendance.

Lead development, validation, and QA of HVAC electrical control solutions. Create and execute test plans for embedded firmware, UI, hardware, and system-level testing. Validate communications (BACnet, Modbus, UART, T1L, MQTT), perform debugging, compliance testing, defect tracking, and produce test documentation. Support cross-functional collaboration, production and field investigations, and mentor teammates.

Lead development, implementation, and optimization of manufacturing processes for HVAC systems. Manage SAP manufacturing master data (BOMs, routings, work centers), analyze production data, drive continuous improvement, support new product introductions, develop SOPs, mentor junior engineers, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

Lead design, development, and continuous improvement of HVAC control products. Own product lifecycle, deliver projects on budget and schedule, provide hands-on technical leadership, collaborate with cross-functional teams, support documentation/training, and interface with external stakeholders and field personnel.

Serve as a technical, customer-facing engineer who designs and delivers on-site and off-site customer experiences, conducts technical demonstrations, develops technical content, analyzes feedback, and coordinates with internal teams to improve customer engagement and support trade shows and training.
