Supervised practicum/internship providing mental health and substance use treatment. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, delivering or observing individual/group/family therapy, documenting client progress, participating in treatment teams and crisis interventions, attending regular supervision, and meeting academic practicum hour and documentation requirements.

Provide person-centered mental health recovery services including assessments, care planning, case management, skills training, recovery coaching in home/community settings, documentation, coordination with internal/external treatment teams, monthly progress reporting, and participation in supervision and continuing education. May transport clients and work evenings/weekends; mobile crisis/on-call participation possible.

Lead and supervise HR staff to manage recruiting, hiring, compensation, benefits, payroll, training, performance management, employee relations, disciplinary actions, compliance with labor laws, workforce planning, and HR policy development while serving as liaison between employees and leadership.

Coordinate and conduct internal audits and assist with external audit preparation to ensure quality client care and Medicaid compliance. Develop audit tools, track findings, coordinate EHR amendments, investigate client complaints, train staff, and support corrective action plans and continuous quality improvement.

Provide unbiased education, outreach, and insurance enrollment assistance to clients. Help clients obtain and maintain Indiana Health Coverage Programs or federal marketplace plans, complete applications, track eligibility, coordinate with billing and providers, document interactions, assess for abuse/neglect, and pursue continuing education. Work independently with minimal supervision and maintain confidentiality.

Semester-long practicum/internship pairing students with staff to shadow school-based, community-based, and DCS specialty trainers. Gain exposure to evidence-based curricula, individual and group skills training, care coordination, team meetings, and field learning. Students completing the semester are guaranteed a job interview upon degree completion.

Oversees day-to-day operations of Mobile Crisis Response and Crisis Receiving/Stabilization Services, supervises and trains crisis staff, manages staffing and schedules, performs crisis assessments and treatment planning during surges, monitors documentation and KPIs, coordinates care and community referrals, handles administrative tasks like utilization review and reporting, provides on-call coverage, and ensures adherence to best practices and training standards (including CPI trainer certification).
