Conduct technical due diligence for wind energy installations across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. Responsibilities include reviewing turbine components, contracts, land leases, permits, environmental studies, and long-term energy yield assessments; preparing bankable reports and site visit documentation; managing delivery within planning, budget, and quality requirements; and liaising with lenders, sponsors, developers, financiers, and other stakeholders.

Own the architecture, development, operation, and reliability of a high-performance Java ETL engine processing near-real-time data from millions of renewable energy devices. Integrate object storage and streaming infrastructure, balance batch and real-time processing, lead testing and incident response, document architecture and runbooks, and guide technical decisions across a small engineering team.

Lead technical BESS advisory across Sub-Saharan Africa: feasibility, strategy, development, operations, grid integration, and standardisation. Support project design, procurement, commissioning, client recommendations, tools and templates, and mentor colleagues.

Provide first-level client support for the SynaptiQ SaaS platform, assist deployments and onboarding, test and debug new features, report and help resolve bugs, and propose process or tooling improvements while learning under senior engineers.

Manage onboarding and ongoing success for 5–15 customer accounts, run 1–3 onboarding projects, monitor KPIs and customer health, deliver training and enablement, identify upsell opportunities, coordinate cross-functional teams, and feed product improvements from customer insight.

The Senior Renewable Energy Engineer manages consultancy projects, conducts technical due diligence for solar and wind, oversees project feasibility, monitors construction, and engages in stakeholder management, ensuring project success from inception to operation.
