Review and label biological and biotechnology-related content under established safety policies. Evaluate ambiguous scientific exchanges, distinguish legitimate research from dual-use or harmful applications, document reasoning, and improve biological safety review consistency. The role requires strong biological expertise, analytical judgment, written communication, and interest or experience in biosecurity, biosafety, biorisk, biodefense, or biological threat assessment. This is a remote, short-term U.S. contract requiring 20–40 hours weekly for 4–8 weeks.

Build and automate secure, reproducible cloud infrastructure and tooling to support adversarial testing of AI systems. Collaborate with red teamers and engineers to reproduce, remediate, and simulate attacks, perform threat modeling and security reviews, and integrate security across the development lifecycle.

Own budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning; prepare monthly/quarterly/annual financial reports and variance analyses; manage cash flow forecasting and month/year-end close with external accountants; build financial models, KPIs, dashboards, and business cases; support audits, tax filings, fundraising, board reporting, and automation of reporting processes.

Lead and continuously improve the company's security and privacy compliance programs (SOC 2, GDPR, ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials Plus). Manage external audits, evidence collection, GRC tooling, vendor risk, customer security reviews, and compliance documentation. Partner with engineering, security, legal, and leadership to implement controls, run risk assessments, operationalize AI governance, produce metrics and executive reporting, and deliver organization-wide security and compliance training.

The Machine Learning Engineer will design, build, evaluate, and deploy ML systems, collaborating on projects in safety, security, and intelligence applications, while owning projects from initial research through to production.

Build and maintain secure, reproducible infrastructure and backend services for large-scale AI and agentic model evaluations. Design sandboxed execution environments, orchestration, observability, and APIs to run thousands of evaluation tasks while ensuring isolation, security, and reproducibility. Collaborate with researchers and red teamers to translate evaluation ideas into reliable systems and debug failures across the stack.
