Newly launched PromoShare is a digital marketing platform that helps sports teams, event producers and artists create online content with the help of their fans.

“Promoshare is turning complex, highly manual and time-draining fan creator programs into easy-to-deploy, effective and measurable campaigns,” PromoShare Founder and CEO Ernesto Pedroza said in a statement provided to Built In.

By producing fan-driven marketing campaigns, PromoShare enables clients to leverage the influence of their fans to drive additional distribution through hyper-local fan and group segments. Clients can also reward their top-producing fans with perks and status. PromoShare said it also gives clients the ability to link sales to user-generated content and provides them with one platform to review campaign performance rather than having to visit multiple social media sites.

“By utilizing organic fan-generated content, in place of biased team-manufactured content, our platform allows teams to reach their target audience and drive new business revenue,” Pedroza said. “We are on a mission to push the limits of technology and reimagine the way fans get incentivized for creating content, and our company brings a unique blend of cutting-edge automation and execution to every user experience.”

PromoShare said its platform was created to bridge the gap between fans and their favorite sports teams, artists and entertainers and help clients maximize their fan engagement and revenue.

Chicago-based PromoShare began piloting its platform last year. During this time, the company also raised $250,000 in funding from angel investors and Bronze Valley to invest in its technology, according to a statement from PromoShare.

Although newly launched, PromoShare already names companies like Boston Red Sox, Houston Astros, NASCAR, Warner Music Group and Live Nation Entertainment as clients, according to the statement.
