Non-English apps - is there a market?

Ok, Android has a huge lead in the international market and still a large portion of the population growing urban USA ("minorities" if you want to label them) is more familiar using a phone for the internet and communications than a laptop or desktop.  I, however, could not turn this into any sort of market to build for and I lived in Logan Square at the time (not exactly Lincoln Park).

I built three types of apps for purchase on Google Play "solamente en Espanol":
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.BajoContenidoEnSodioOpciones
- one to decide how to buy low sodium drinks at popular restaurants/coffee shops
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.DiversiondeCafeina3
- one to decide which drinks to feed your child that are low in caffeine
-  a fantasy soccer type of game app which I took down.

Please do not download them - I gave up development and support about half way through because there simply was no interest in anyone I talked to and they do not provide a great user experience which I believe was a crucial factor.

If there Spanish-speaking people reading this, are you interested in Spanish-language apps, do you watch ESPN Deportes instead of ESPN...or do you just get along with technology in English "like everyone else".  Please chime in with your comments if you are more attuned to this issue than I am.  Thanks.

Spanish is not my forte or passion, I just thought I would try to see a market need and meet it, which I obviously did not see it nor meet it.  I do not fit the visual profile either.  However, if you will remember the previous mayoral campaign, how many Hispanic candidates were there versus Caucasian?
