InStride, a workforce education solutions provider, partnered with Hospital Sisters Health System, or HSHS, to launch a new educational initiative. Resources and Education for the Advancement of Colleagues, or REACH, is a program designed to support employees’ career and academic aspirations by covering up to $4,000 in tuition annually.
Available from the first day of employment, REACH is accessible to over 11,000 full- and part-time HSHS employees across Illinois and Wisconsin, offering them more than 1,000 courses to earn clinical certificates, associate, bachelor’s and graduate degrees, as well as skills certificates and high school diplomas.
This collaboration between HSHS and InStride aims to enhance employee retention and efficiency. InStride has helped companies achieve 90 percent retention rates for participating employees. Companies have also recorded a 3x return on investment in direct-bill education programs, having proven more efficient than standard tuition reimbursement, according to HSHS.
