Summary: Vantor, formerly Maxar Technologies, has redefined itself as a leading end-to-end spatial intelligence company. Through products like Tensorglobe, Raptor and Sentry, it’s shifting from raw data delivery to insight-driven solutions. Guided by leaders like Chief HR Officer Anat Gan Eden, the company’s transformation hinges on resilient culture, strong leadership and... more

The Impetus Behind Vantor’s Transformation

When Chief HR Officer Anat Gan Eden thinks of “growth,” she considers more than standard metrics like revenue and market share.

“Sustainable growth is really the outcome of three things working in harmony: a resilient culture, a strong leadership pipeline and a workforce that can adapt at speed,” she said.

Her employer, spatial intelligence technology company Vantor, is operating on all of those cylinders — and more. Fresh on the heels of an exciting rebrand, Vantor is ready to lead as an end-to-end spatial intelligence company and double down on the factors that will help it reach its next phase of growth.

“It’s less about speed for its own sake and more about timing: aligning the right talent, technology and strategy so growth is both ambitious and sustainable,” Gan Eden said.

Senior Strategic Pricing Director Kyle Westra, who joined Vantor in early 2024, said that 2025’s focus was solidifying the company’s fundamentals and starting to enable growth.

“This ensures we are well-positioned for an especially impactful 2026 and beyond,” he said.

So, what’s in store? Read on to hear from three leaders at the forefront of a new frontier of spatial intelligence.

About Vantor

Vantor is a spatial intelligence company that uses data from satellites, drones and ground sensors to create a comprehensive, AI-powered view of the Earth. Its technology helps defense, government and commercial organizations turn complex geospatial data into real-time actionable insights for mapping, monitoring and high-stakes decision-making.

How Vantor Keeps Pace With an Ever-Changing Industry

In early October 2025, Vantor rebranded from Maxar Technologies — reflecting a years-long transformation of the business — and announced a new product: Tensorglobe, a spatial intelligence platform that renders a living 3D globe to help organizations automate the intelligence cycle.

Tensorglobe was just one of several new AI-powered solutions from Vantor. Alongside Tensorglobe, Vantor had recently released its Raptor software product, which integrates 3D terrain data with drone cameras, as well as Sentry, a site-monitoring tool for operational threats.

These milestones marked a business transformation. No longer was the company just a satellite imagery provider, but an end-to-end spatial intelligence company whose solutions could connect sensor data from every domain, providing a unified intelligence picture for its partners.

Vantor was born — but its transformation has only just begun.

According to Lead Talent Acquisition Partner Eric DePinto, Vantor is closely monitoring several key trends, including continued market expansion, the shift toward insight-driven solutions and growing demand for real-time imaging capabilities.

“Vantor is strategically positioned to respond to these industry trends by shifting focus from raw data delivery to insight-driven solutions,” he said.

To do this, the company is integrating AI-powered analytics, cloud processing and near-real-time monitoring, enabling clients to make smarter decisions more quickly. By investing in advanced data capabilities, the company can create differentiated, high-value offerings across its portfolio.

“I believe this approach will strengthen our market credibility and long-term resilience as the industry becomes more regulated and competitive,” DePinto said.

Westra said that Vantor’s relentless focus on AI innovation, coupled with its employees’ broad domain expertise, set his employer apart in the spatial intelligence space.

“We have people with deep industry knowledge and incredible understanding of our customers’ needs,” Westra said. “They have seen paradigm shifts before and know how to navigate them – some colleagues have been at some iteration of Vantor for decades. This is incredibly valuable for someone like me who is relatively new to spatial intelligence.”

Another difference-maker for Vantor this year? It reached full operational capability on all six of its WorldView Legion satellites.

The fifth and sixth satellites launched in February 2025, representing a huge increase in high-resolution imagery capacity and a “new era” in the geospatial industry. Now that all six satellites are fully operational, the constellation can collect more than 6 million square kilometers of Earth imagery per day.

“We have a really exciting 18-month window to launch new products that both directly and indirectly monetize this unparalleled capacity. We can grow value far faster than capacity increases,” Westra said.

This capability will be meaningful in terms of reducing the overall capital intensity of the business, Westra added.

“Even small changes on the margin can have a very big impact,” he said.

With a workplace culture rooted in innovation and empowerment, a capable leadership team and an operational capacity ready for scale, Vantor is ready to take on 2026.

Inside Vantor’s Current Hiring Efforts

To maintain this momentum, Vantor is focused on building out several key departments, including product and engineering.

“This expansion directly supports the continued growth of our customer base, who are leveraging both existing and new Vantor products to meet their evolving needs,” DePinto said. “I expect this trend to continue, which is incredibly exciting, as it positions us to deliver even greater value to our clients.”

According to Gan Eden, the company’s hiring goals are focused less on volume and more on critical capabilities that align with business needs. So, while some teams may only welcome one or two new team members in the near future, each new addition will play a critical role in driving growth.

“Every new hire connects to the company’s broader scaling strategy, whether it’s strengthening the infrastructure that supports growth, deepening customer relationships or ensuring we have the leadership and skills to innovate for the future,” Gan Eden said. “In short, hiring for us is about precision: making sure we have the right talent in the right places to sustain momentum and stay ahead of where the business is going.”

What’s in Store for Vantor’s Employees

At the end of the day, growth and innovation are powered by one thing: People.

“Investing in talent, fostering continuous learning and aligning workforce strategy with business goals isn’t an option — it’s how companies stay competitive,” Gan Eden said.

That’s why Vantor provides its people with ample growth resources, including stretch assignments, mentorship opportunities and partnerships with external providers for specialized training in areas such as leadership and data skills. Employees are encouraged to own their development, and managers are offered the tools and guidance needed to help their direct reports reach their full potential.

“That combination of resources and mindset ensures our teams can evolve as quickly as the business does,” Eden said.

But good leaders know that change brings challenges, too, which is why Vantor’s leadership prioritizes listening to its people.

“They actively welcome feedback from us and are genuinely committed to following through on meaningful changes that improve our operations and culture,” DePinto said.

As Vantor sets its people up for success, it’s ready to embrace a future defined by strong leaders, an empowering culture and a powerful product suite. This is the vision that Gan Eden had in mind when she first joined the company.

“The core idea remains true: If you invest in people, leadership and culture, the business will scale in a way that lasts,” she said. “That’s what we’re seeing today.”
