Hala Mobility announced a pre-Series A funding round that pulled in ₹51 crore, which is equal to about $6 million, according to reporting by Entrepreneur India.
The Hyderabad-based company operates a vehicle-sharing platform that connects e-commerce companies and gig workers with electric vehicle options. It works with major names in quick commerce like BigBasket and Zomato. Hala Mobility already has operations in Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Vizag, Vijayawada and Guntur. According to Entrepreneur India, Hala Mobility’s new capital will allow the company to introduce its solutions in six more cities across India.
The financing will also help expand the company’s e-mobility fleet. Through partnerships with various electric vehicle manufacturers and battery providers, Hala Mobility has amassed a fleet of 3,000-plus electric two-wheel scooters. The company plans to have another 10,000 electric vehicles in service by December 2025, according to Entrepreneur India.
