For Senior Data Scientist Madhuri P., Cargill’s culture is like a McLaren — “a machine shaped by teamwork, precision, purpose and a commitment to excellence.”
Just like a McLaren is built for performance and agility on the road, she said that the company culture at the global agribusiness is designed to drive a clear purpose: to nourish the world in a safe, responsible and sustainable way. And as employees pursue this noble aim, they celebrate wins, learn from every challenge, and look ahead with curiosity and drive.
“That mix of performance and purpose and speed with responsibility is exactly the kind of ‘McLaren spirit’ that mirrors our culture,” she said.
Since she joined the team, she has seen the company empower people to lead and drive innovation. And with this support, P. shared, she has been able to help define enterprise-wide GenAI strategy, particularly when it comes to supporting AI adoption across all of Cargill’s business divisions.
“This work goes beyond selecting models or tools — it’s about setting the vision for how GenAI integrates into our current digital ecosystem, how we classify and protect data, and how we enable teams to innovate responsibly and at speed,” she said.
Cargill is just one of 15 growing companies that offers its people the opportunity to pursue meaningful work in a mission-driven workplace. Read on to see what individuals from each company had to say about why they joined their team, the exciting projects they’re working on right now and how they would describe the essence of their employer’s culture.

ServiceNow’s platform is designed to enable enterprises to unite AI, data and workflows using automation, therefore making their core IT functions more efficient.
What first attracted you to ServiceNow? When did you know it was the right place for you and your career?
I’ve been with ServiceNow for about three years, and it was clear very quickly that it was the right place for me. The onboarding experience was smooth, intentional and well-structured. There was a real investment in helping me ramp up, build relationships, and understand how I could make an impact. From day one, leaders were accessible, expectations were clear, and there was a strong sense of trust. That combination of support, clarity and ambition made it obvious that I joined a company that values both performance and people.
“From day one, leaders were accessible, expectations were clear, and there was a strong sense of trust.”
If your company culture was a car, what would it be, and why?
I’d compare it to a Lamborghini Urus because it’s empowering. ServiceNow genuinely empowers its people through trust, autonomy and access to leadership. You’re encouraged to think big, take ownership, and move with urgency, while knowing you have strong support behind you. The culture strikes a balance between high standards and collaboration and respect, creating an environment where people are motivated to do their best work and grow together.
MongoDB’s multi-cloud database is designed to enable teams to easily build and deploy applications.
What first attracted you to MongoDB? When did you know it was the right place for you and your career?
I was first attracted to MongoDB because of its reputation as the most popular document database. As a student, I used the free tier of MongoDB Atlas for university projects, and I found the service easy to learn and use.
During my summer internship with MongoDB, I got to experience the culture and saw firsthand how customer-focused all the teams I interacted with were. The focus on the developer experience and API-first development resonated with me. Additionally, there is a focus on personal development and growth across multiple levels of the company, not just interns and new hires. I knew this would be a great place to grow my career.
“The focus on the developer experience and API-first development resonated with me.”

Recently, I worked with the API Experience and DevTools team to create the MongoDB MCP server. The MongoDB MCP server allows new developers to use large language models to deploy, manage and query MongoDB. My contribution to the project was helping to add Local Atlas tools, which allows new developers to quickly spin up an Atlas cluster locally on their computer in one LLM prompt. This makes it easier for students and new developers to learn how MongoDB Atlas works and how to manage their deployments without having to worry about the cloud.
If your company culture was a car, what would it be, and why?
If MongoDB’s company culture was a car, I would imagine it as the Subaru Trailseeker. It’s a modern, all-electric SUV built for reliability. Just like the Trailseeker, MongoDB’s culture is forward-thinking, innovative and focused on outcomes — not flashiness. It’s a supportive environment that always strives for success, no matter the conditions.
BlackRock is an asset management firm that offers investment, advisory and risk management solutions to a wide range of clients, from government and foundations to large institutions.
What first attracted you to BlackRock? When did you know it was the right place for you and your career?
I was initially drawn to BlackRock for its reputation as a global market leader and innovative, client-focused approach. What truly stood out was the six-month Returners Program, purpose-built for professionals re-entering the workforce. After 14 years away, I needed time to transition to understand my role, build relationships, and learn the broader ecosystem. The program offered the perfect balance: time to settle in and learn, followed by an opportunity to demonstrate my skills and make an impact. I joined during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic, so starting remotely after an extended break was no small challenge. Yet, it quickly became clear that BlackRock’s principles are far more than words on a page. They shape everyday interactions.
From the outset, the culture of collaboration and inclusivity was evident, and the ethos of “One BlackRock” and “Emotional Ownership” truly resonated with me, as it fostered a sense of shared purpose. It’s rare to find an environment where you can reach out to anyone, regardless of seniority, and know they’ll share ideas because the best solutions often come from collective expertise. Add to that a clear commitment to growth, and this was the right place to build a career.

BlackRock is built on innovation, always moving forward, embracing new solutions and setting the pace for the industry. Through all that progress, one thing that never changes is our commitment to putting clients first. Every step we take is guided by their needs.
I lead the EMEA Financial Institutions Group Servicing Team within Client Experience, building trusted relationships with insurers and financial institutions that rely on BlackRock’s platform. Traditionally, insurance portfolios centred on public fixed income, but with private markets growing rapidly, clients now seek diversified solutions combining public and private assets. Meeting that demand means evolving how we go to market, organize internally, and deliver a best in class experience. I’m partnering with investment, sales and key stakeholders to modernize and standardize our service model across the client lifecycle, from onboarding and guideline design to reporting and daily support. This initiative simplifies processes and accelerates outcomes, ensuring clients receive faster, more reliable service. It’s been an exciting, rewarding challenge alongside brilliant colleagues shaping the future of our business.
If your company culture was a car, what would it be, and why?
BlackRock culture is dynamic and tangible, and you feel it in every interaction. It’s rooted in collaboration, innovation and accountability. We operate as “One BlackRock,” bringing diverse perspectives and deep expertise to tackle complex challenges. You’ll often hear “One BlackRock” because it’s how we work. People feel a genuine sense of responsibility and personal investment in outcomes and are willing to roll up their sleeves and work relentlessly to deliver. It’s not just about doing your job; it’s caring about the impact of your work on our clients and the firm.
In comparing that to a car, I would have to say it’s the Aston Martin DBX for its professional, boardroom polish with weekend grit. It combines luxury and capability with active all-wheel drive, integrated design, superior craftsmanship and resilience. Built to handle varied terrains, it remains customizable, innovative, quick and highly responsive.
Navan is a corporate travel and expense software company that makes travel and expenses easy.
What first attracted you to Navan? When did you know it was the right place for you and your career?
I was first attracted to Navan because it’s a modern disruptor in the massive travel and expense space. I knew I wanted to go into tech, but I also wanted it to be a product I was genuinely passionate about, and travel and expense is a market ripe for true innovation.
“I was first attracted to Navan because it’s a modern disruptor in the massive travel and expense space.”
For an SDR, Navan is the perfect place to be. Unlike legacy solutions, our unified platform is immediately appealing to prospects because we solve real, painful problems, like expense reports and messy bookings. This means we’re not just selling; we’re initiating meaningful conversations about simplifying people’s lives and optimizing company finances. Our product and the global travel industry are exciting and high-growth, giving the SDR team an unbeatable value proposition that directly translates into a high-quality pipeline and fast career acceleration.

I am currently participating in the Talent Accelerator Program to bridge the gap between my current SDR role and becoming an account executive at Navan. This is a truly unique and incredible program that sets our sales org apart in the tech industry. While other companies often offer slow, informal paths to becoming an AE, the Talent Accelerator Program is unique to Navan, providing formalized mentorship and a rigorous curriculum to ramp up high-performing SDRs to become successful AEs. This has presented many new and exciting challenges for me, as I focus on building my strategic selling skill set, finding unique ways to reach out to prospects and connecting key business challenges and initiatives directly to how Navan can positively impact their travel and expense landscape. This investment in the Talent Accelerator Program is critical to the business, as it ensures Navan builds a predictable, high-quality engine of internal talent. I am thrilled to be part of this program and excited to grow my strategic seller skill set and transition into an AE role.
If your company culture was a car, what would it be, and why?
If Navan’s company culture were a car, it would definitely be an Audi RS because we embody sophisticated engineering and relentless speed. Just like Audi on the Autobahn, we are always moving fast, prioritizing quick execution and continuous iteration to stay ahead of the competition!
Cargill is a global company that provides food, ingredients, agricultural solutions and industrial products.
What first attracted you to Cargill? When did you know it was the right place for you and your career?
I was drawn to Cargill by the scale and real-world impact of the problems here and the opportunity to lead advanced ML and GenAI for agriculture and supply-chain challenges that affect millions of people. Cargill, being one of the largest privately held food and agriculture companies with a presence in more than 70 countries, already uses AI deeply across operations, from predictive analytics and computer vision in meat processing to ML in supply chains and customer solutions. That level of global impact and meaningful application of technology immediately stood out to me.
I knew Cargill was the right place when I saw how strongly the organization empowers people to lead and drive innovation. Very early on, I experienced genuine investment in experimentation, production and scaling solutions, not just building prototypes. Within a short time, I was able to lead enterprise GenAI enablement, architect end-to-end solutions, shape platform strategy, and contribute to initiatives that scaled beyond a single region. That combination of innovation, purpose and global impact convinced me that this is where I can grow and contribute meaningfully.
“Very early on, I experienced genuine investment in experimentation, production and scaling solutions, not just building prototypes.”

One of the most exciting challenges I’m leading right now is helping define enterprise-wide GenAI strategy; specifically, how we create a unified, secure and scalable platform that can support AI adoption across all businesses within Cargill. This work goes beyond selecting models or tools — it’s about setting the vision for how GenAI integrates into our current digital ecosystem, how we classify and protect data, and how we enable teams to innovate responsibly and at speed.
A key focus has been establishing the foundational patterns, RAG frameworks, agentic workflows, translation capabilities and governance models that allow different teams to build confidently on a shared backbone. I regularly partner with leaders across functions to align platform decisions with business needs, ensure compliance, and enable long-term scalability.
If your company culture was a car, what would it be, and why?
If our company culture was a car, it would be a McLaren; not just a sleek supercar, but a machine shaped by teamwork, precision, purpose and a commitment to excellence. A McLaren isn’t built to be ordinary; it’s engineered for performance, agility and pushing the limits of what’s possible. That’s a lot like how we operate at Cargill. We’re driven by a clear purpose: to nourish the world in a safe, responsible and sustainable way — every day and in every market we serve. That purpose aligns our teams and inspires us to solve complex challenges with creativity and integrity.
Just as a McLaren team works in perfect harmony, from the engineer’s balancing aerodynamics to the pit crew executing with split-second coordination, Cargill’s culture thrives on collaboration, trust and shared goals. And like the exciting world of F1, where every lap and every decision matters, at Cargill, we stay focused on continuous improvement. We celebrate wins, learn from every challenge, and always look ahead with curiosity and drive. That mix of performance and purpose, speed with responsibility is exactly the kind of “McLaren spirit” that mirrors our culture.
Vantor’s spatial intelligence technology is designed to help defense, government and commercial organizations turn complex geospatial data into real-time actionable insights for mapping, monitoring and high-stakes decision-making.
What first attracted you to Vantor? When did you know it was the right place for you and your career?
I was attracted to Vantor because I’ve always been a huge space nerd and dreamed of working for NASA, but I love living in Denver and wasn’t willing to move. Up to that point, I’d spent my whole career — about six years out of college — working in tech startups. So when I saw that Vantor, a company with cutting-edge technology in the space industry, was hiring for a product role, I jumped at the chance.
I wasn’t even looking for a new job at the time and was really enjoying my work at my previous company in the healthcare tech/AI space, but I knew I’d do anything to land a job at Vantor and get my foot in the door of this industry. I had no idea how much I’d actually love the journey the company has been on since I joined. That’s just been a bonus!

I recently took over as the product manager for one of our platform applications called Cortex. This application is key to Vantor’s evolution from simply delivering satellite images to providing real solutions. Cortex helps users visualize satellite orbits and access to locations on the ground, and it allows our customers, who often use tens, if not hundreds, of satellites, to quickly generate plans for capturing the images they need, all in under a minute, thanks to AI. Talk about the perfect app for a space and tech nerd! I could play around with it all day and never get bored.
If your company culture was a car, what would it be, and why?
I’m not really a car person, but I’d say it would probably be a flying car! So many people here are absolutely obsessed with what they do. The passion is unmatched. We’re constantly pushing the envelope and encouraged to go beyond the ordinary. So we can’t just be any old car; we’d definitely be a flying one!
Grainger is the leading distributor of maintenance, repair and operating products, serving more than 4.5 million customers worldwide. The company is enhancing its digital edge with technologies like machine learning, IoT, cloud automation and data-driven insights to maintain its leadership for the next 100 years.
What first attracted you to Grainger? When did you know it was the right place for you and your career?
I first started the search for my next opportunity with an AI-focused mindset. From my early conversations with Grainger’s product and tech teams, it was immediately clear that Grainger has a bold and ambitious vision for how AI can elevate the way we serve customers. What resonated most with me was the genuine commitment from leadership to turn that vision into meaningful, measurable outcomes. In an industry where new technologies emerge constantly, I was drawn to Grainger’s discipline in adopting innovation with purpose and staying grounded in its purpose: We Keep The World Working®.
“From my early conversations with Grainger’s product and tech teams, it was immediately clear that Grainger has a bold and ambitious vision for how AI can elevate the way we serve customers.”
Grainger places its focus on the customer, which encourages team members to proactively solve problems and thoughtfully embrace new technologies. This mentality directly aligned with the career path I wanted to take. Further, Grainger has been delivering impactful solutions through AI and ML within the business ahead of common implementation trends. Grainger is establishing itself as an industry lead in this space while building on a strong foundation and continuing to invest in the people, technology and processes that will drive the next stage of growth. This long-term commitment signals not only readiness for the future but a real opportunity to shape it.

Our sales enablement team is driving an AI-powered initiative that starts with the customer, one of Grainger’s principles. We aim to boost efficiency and empower sellers to do what they do best: building relationships, delivering value and driving results, while we provide the right technologies to make that possible.
Designing solutions for a high-touch business model requires us to embrace curiosity, another Grainger principle. Through that curiosity, we explored the user experience to better understand friction points to provide the greatest value. This approach reflects our commitment to do the right thing: creating tools that truly help sellers and customers, rather than complicate their day.
We’re experimenting with ways to front-load product research and streamline administrative tasks, freeing sellers to spend more time with their customers. Experience-informed AI solutions allow us to elevate the customer experience, a growth lever for our business.
If your company culture was a car, what would it be, and why?
Over the past two months, I have received a genuine and warm welcome from the team and our business partners. Everyone is excited about what we can build together with AI and our roadmap ahead. Just as importantly, they have been incredibly supportive in helping me learn the business as I ramp up.
I am not much of a car person, but if Grainger’s culture were a car, it would be reliable, versatile and designed to make life easier without taking control away from you — similar to my RAV4. Just like the RAV4’s smart features, Grainger’s culture is full of small but meaningful assists. Principles like “Win as One Team” encourage others to step in when you need a hand, “Embrace Curiosity” encourages knowledge-sharing and “Starting With the Customer” gets us to the root of a problem faster, removing friction so you can focus on what matters. At the same time, you’re in the driver’s seat: You have autonomy to make decisions and steer your own growth, backed by a team that’s collaborative and genuinely supportive and exemplified by the principle, “Invest in success.” If you’re looking for a place where teamwork and empowerment drive success, Grainger is the ride you want.
InterSystems’ solutions are designed to provide organizations with advanced data management, integration and analytics technologies.
What first attracted you to InterSystems? When did you know it was the right place for you and your career?
What first attracted me to InterSystems was the shared passion for solving complex, meaningful problems. From the start, I could tell this was a place where curiosity is encouraged, technical depth is valued, and people genuinely care about building high-quality solutions. I knew it was the right place for my career when I realized how supportive and collaborative the environment is. The people here are not just colleagues — they feel more like friends and extended family. Every day, I feel that my work contributes to something larger than myself, whether it’s improving healthcare systems, supporting mission-critical operations, or helping customers achieve breakthrough performance. That sense of real impact is what confirmed that InterSystems is where I’m meant to grow.

Right now, I’m focused on a project that extends our support for cloud object storage as a first-class storage option into new functional areas of InterSystems IRIS. This work is exciting because it pushes the boundaries of how customers can architect scalable, cloud-native solutions on our platform. By deepening IRIS’ integration with cloud object storage, we’re opening the door for customers and partners to design more flexible, cost-efficient and resilient environments. This has the potential to accelerate cloud adoption, reduce operational overhead, and position InterSystems as an even stronger player in hybrid and multi-cloud strategies. Ultimately, this initiative helps us meet customers where they are — and where they’re going — as they modernize their infrastructures.
If your company culture was a car, what would it be, and why?
A minivan — and I mean that in the best possible way! InterSystems’ culture is all about collaboration, inclusivity and making sure everyone has the support they need to thrive. Like a minivan, it’s built for capacity and comfort: There’s always room for new ideas, space to grow and a sense of reliability that keeps the whole team moving forward together. And just like those hidden cupholders and surprise entertainment features, there are plenty of fun moments, unexpected perks and small but meaningful touches that make the journey even better.
Ro is a direct-to-patient healthcare company that offers nationwide telehealth, labs and pharmacy services.
What first attracted you to Ro? When did you know it was the right place for you and your career?
I was drawn to Ro because of its strong mission to help people reach their goals by making high-quality, affordable healthcare accessible at scale. I see day in and day out how that mission truly manifests in a collaborative and supportive work environment. “Ro’ers” put egos aside, stay focused, and work toward the shared goal in service of our patients. I love that the work we do helps make life-changing healthcare more accessible. Being surrounded by people who all care deeply about that mission makes Ro a place where I can truly thrive.

I’m currently working on scaling and improving one of the most complex and frustrating parts of healthcare for patients: prior authorizations. Insurance coverage is essential for affordability and access, but the process can often delay treatment. We’re using technology to manage that complexity behind the scenes so the experience feels seamless and transparent. Patients are kept in the loop as we submit the best case to insurance companies on their behalf. This work impacts thousands of patients, helping them get the medications they need more easily and at the best available prices. It’s exciting to take something that’s historically been a barrier to care and turn it into a smoother experience for patients.
If your company culture was a car, what would it be, and why?
If Ro’s culture was a car, it would be an F1 team car: speedy, mission-driven and powered by innovation and collaboration. Every Ro’er plays a critical role in keeping things running smoothly, from engineering and product to clinical and operations. We move quickly, communicate constantly, and trust each other to execute, because we’re all working toward the same finish line: improving patient access to high-quality care, which is deeply rewarding!
Founded in 2020 by George Sivulka, Hebbia is a generative AI company backed by Andreessen Horowitz, Peter Thiel and Index Ventures. Investment banks and over 40 percent of the largest asset managers by AUM use Hebbia’s AI agents to drive investment decisions and automate financial analyst workflows.
What first attracted you to Hebbia? When did you know it was the right place for you and your career?
The number one priority I look for in a new job is the team. I knew this would be a high-stakes, fast-paced environment, so it was important to work with people I genuinely wanted to build alongside, even under pressure. After spending a day at the New York headquarters and enjoying every interaction, I was sold. The people here embody the qualities I value most in teammates: rigorous, thoughtful and kind.
I knew Hebbia was the right place within the first few weeks. I was shipping real features almost immediately and making meaningful changes across the codebase. It quickly became clear that while the bar here is very high, the support is just as strong. And as someone new to the city, I’ve been especially grateful that so many teammates became genuine friends and my first support system in New York. It’s rare to find a team where ambition, trust and collaboration move in sync. I felt at home almost right away, and it was a huge relief to know that the cross-country move was absolutely worth it.

Recently, I had the opportunity to lead our mobile app effort, which was by far the most challenging project of my career so far. In just one month, we went from zero to one, shipping an integration-heavy mobile app that enables our customers to securely query all of their company data on the go. It pushed me to grow quickly in ownership, prioritization and decision-making across nearly every part of our stack. More than anything, it reinforced how much this work is a team sport. My manager consistently fought to make sure I had the resources I needed, and our design team moved at an incredible pace to bring every flow to life.
Mobile lets us meet customers where they already are: on their phones and on the go, so they can get answers quickly and act with confidence wherever work happens.
If your company culture was a car, what would it be, and why?
I’ll go with my favorite car, the Bentley Continental GT! Bentley builds things that are custom-fit and unmistakably premium without being loud. There’s intention in every detail, a willingness to invest in craft and a belief that performance and beauty aren’t tradeoffs. We care deeply about accuracy, reliability and speed, but we also care about how the product feels to use.
We don’t default to the safest or most generic black-and-white option just because it’s common. Thoughtful design, color and polish aren’t “extra” here; they’re part of our larger bet on creating the next paradigm for how people interface with AI.
What I appreciate most is the quiet competence. People here operate at a very high level without ego. The pace is fast, expectations are high, and the problems are genuinely hard, but the execution is calm, deliberate and collaborative. So, if I had to choose a car to represent our company culture, it wouldn’t be something flashy or aggressive. It would be engineered for long-term excellence, built by people who care about the details and designed to perform at a high level without ever needing to prove it.
Leader Bank is a Massachusetts-based entrepreneurial financial institution that offers various community banking and lending services.
What first attracted you to Leader Bank? When did you know it was the right place for you and your career?
What first attracted me to Leader was its impact on the local community and economy. I love how Leader has helped so many local businesses, people and municipalities thrive. Leader’s coupling of local impact and innovation is what made me know it was the right place for me and my career. My background is in tech and innovation; I feel a strong alignment with the shared goal of building better tools to improve the lives of people and businesses.

Right now, my most exciting challenge is the same one that makes my job amazing: spending time with business banking clients, walking a mile in their shoes, and turning those insights into innovation. I get to spend time with inspiring business owners, observe real workflows, and co-create solutions. We test solutions in real-world scenarios, iterate fast, and keep what’s helpful. Currently, I’m going deep in a few key verticals, one of which is real estate, and that’s been fun on a personal level, too, as I bought and sold property this year and get to see the inner workings from various angles. The impact this will have on the business is: happier clients who stay and love banking with us, and more new clients because we make a positive difference in the businesses we serve.
If your company culture was a car, what would it be, and why?
The very first electric car I ever drove was the Hyundai Ioniq, so it has a special place in my heart. It’s efficient, practical, innovative and wants drivers and passengers to have a great experience!
Boomi aims to help enterprises achieve agility, efficiency and innovation at scale with its platform, which integrates applications, APIs, data and AI agents.
What first attracted you to Boomi? When did you know it was the right place for you and your career?
What initially drew me to Boomi was the opportunity to work at the intersection of integration, innovation and scale. Boomi has a reputation for solving complex problems with simplicity, and that philosophy resonated deeply with me. During the interview process, I met people who were not only technically brilliant but also genuinely collaborative and empathetic.
I knew it was the right place for me the moment I realized how much autonomy and trust leaders extend to their teams. Boomi encourages you to bring ideas forward, experiment, and take ownership — qualities that are essential for both professional growth and building impactful engineering teams. It felt like an environment where I could contribute meaningfully while continuing to learn every day.

One of the most exciting and challenging initiatives I’m currently working on is building and scaling AI-powered connectors, specifically the Amazon Bedrock and the OpenAI Connector. These connectors enable customers to seamlessly integrate GenAI capabilities into their business processes. Alongside developing the connectors, we are accelerating the entire connector and integration process development lifecycle using AI tools, with a strong focus on custom Claude skills. These AI capabilities are being used to: generate large portions of boilerplate and framework-compliant connector code; assist with API contract mapping, payload validation and error-handling patterns; accelerate unit test creation, edge-case coverage and documentation; and reduce manual effort in repetitive integration logic and configuration workflows.
As a result, nearly 70 percent of the connector code is now AI-generated and the business impact is substantial: significantly faster speed to market, higher engineering productivity and consistency, and improved scalability. This approach not only enhances how we deliver today but also sets a foundation for how integration products can be built more intelligently in future
If your company culture was a car, what would it be, and why?
If Boomi’s culture were a car, it would be a Tesla Model Y — innovative, efficient and constantly evolving. It’s built for speed and adaptability, yet designed with safety and reliability at its core.
Boomi’s culture encourages experimentation, continuous improvement and forward thinking. Just like a Tesla improves through over-the-air updates, Boomi continuously learns, adapts, and gets better, powered by strong collaboration and a shared sense of ownership.
Posh’s platform enables people to discover nearby social events, connect with peers around shared interests, and start and scale their own social communities.
What first attracted you to Posh? When did you know it was the right place for you and your career?
Posh’s mission hit differently for me from the beginning: building tools for the people actually shaping culture, from organizers throwing events to the attendees who know what’s next before everyone else does. This isn’t another tech company trying to “disrupt” something; it’s a platform built by people who get it, for people who get it.
I’d already been using Posh for tickets and had friends hosting their events on the platform, so I’d seen firsthand how it worked for both sides. When the opportunity came to join the team, it clicked. I could marry my passion for music and hosting with my skills as a software engineer. Here, I get to build for curators, creators and communities I genuinely understand and have empathy for.
I knew it was a right fit pretty quickly. From day one, the team at Posh has been incredibly inspiring and kind. The work I’ve gotten to do is technically challenging and innovative, and I even shipped my first project within two weeks of joining, all with the support of my fantastic team. I’ve already grown my career in ways I didn’t expect. When you’re surrounded by people who genuinely care about the work and each other, that kind of growth just happens.

Currently, the growth team is focused on revolutionizing the event marketing space. The reality is, a lot of organizers struggle to get their events in front of the right people. But there are already creators, influencers and tastemakers out there who have the trust and attention of exactly the crowds these events need. We’re just connecting those dots and revamping Posh’s affiliate and event marketplace, otherwise currently known as Kickbacks. It’s a place where organizers can tap into creator networks to sell tickets in a low-cost, high-impact and authentic way. It’s people promoting events they actually care about to audiences who trust them.
When our organizers succeed, Posh’s ecosystem gets stronger through more sustainable events, more vibrant scenes and more moments worth showing up for. Our Kickback and event marketing revamp launches in the first quarter of this year, and we’re excited to see how this changes the game for organizers and what comes next.
If your company culture was a car, what would it be, and why?
If I had to pick, I’d probably say we’re a Subaru Outback (Don’t come at me; in all honesty, I don’t know much about cars). When I think about a person who drives an Outback, I think about someone who’s actually getting out there, exploring and creating experiences. It’s the kind of car I can pack all of my friends into on our way to a hike or to a run club, or to drop them off at a rave. That’s Posh’s audience: world-builders, tastemakers and people shaping culture in real-time.
Something we talk about at Posh a lot is being a solution to the loneliness epidemic. We’re building tools that get people off their screens and into real-world moments that matter. The Outback isn’t flashy or performative; it just gets you where you need to go. That’s us. We’re not here to be the main character. We’re here to help organizers and attendees connect, discover, and show up for the experiences that define their scene — reliable and always ready for the next adventure.
Formation Bio is an AI-native pharmaceutical company that aims to bring new treatments to patients more quickly and efficiently.
What first attracted you to Formation Bio? When did you know it was the right place for you and your career?
I was particularly excited by Formation Bio’s core mission: solving the drug development bottleneck. Coming from a background as an AI scientist in preclinical drug discovery, I had seen firsthand how AI tools could accelerate molecular design but also how a significant gap remained in moving those drugs through clinical trials due to biotech’s structural constraints. Formation’s focus on bridging that gap strongly resonated with me.

One of my projects focuses on developing novel AI endpoints. For long-term diseases, it is often challenging to observe meaningful effect sizes during the duration of a clinical trial using standard biomarkers. By leveraging AI-driven pattern detection, we can identify whether our drugs are modulating disease progression. This approach has the potential to unlock a category of therapies that have historically been intractable for the biopharma industry, creating significant scientific and commercial value.
If your company culture was a car, what would it be, and why?
A Waymo: experimental, exciting and rapidly changing, marked by a strong eagerness to be an early adopter that helps set the pace for the industry.
Domino Data Lab’s enterprise machine learning operations platform is designed to accelerate the development and deployment of data science work, helping organizations develop better medicines, grow more productive crops and more.
What first attracted you to Domino Data Lab? When did you know it was the right place for you and your career?
I was in a very similar role at my previous employer, but I’d felt they were lagging behind in AI/ML, particularly in GenAI. When Domino approached me, I was immediately drawn to the platform and use cases as well as their top-tier client portfolio. They were looking for someone with experience in the FSI space with a background in both fintech and real-world banking experience. It was one of those “perfect match” job fits. The interview and onboarding process was seamless; they moved quickly and I felt appreciated. It was a natural progression.

Ironically, the challenge is still data. In many other verticals, that means working with in-house datasets, but FSI needs market data, which means Bloomberg, Refinitiv or exchange data. Often, everyone needs the same data for pre-trade analytics or signal generation. Then, they build their proprietary models on top. So, having connectors to these commercially available datasets is a logical “solution” we can provide to clients so they’re not all developing their own custom connectors. Having some fundamental industry-standard data-source connectors shows that, as a business, we’re committed to the FSI space.
If your company culture was a car, what would it be, and why?
I love this question: We’d be a Caterham Seven. It’s the ultimate engineering machine: lightweight, stripped of all corporate fluff and extremely nimble. It’s open-top — transparent — and often built as a kit, meaning everyone can grab a wrench to help out, regardless of their job description. It’s not about heated seats or cup holders; it’s about pure performance and the thrill of the ride. We might look quirky next to bloated enterprise SUVs, but we leave them in the dust on the turns.
