Settled into a plush lounge chair, she surrendered herself to the sound of the waves caressing the shore. With her laptop casting a gentle glow, the rhythmic “click, click, click” of her fingers on the keyboard blended into the seaside symphony of seagulls chanting and children giggling, their faces glowing with the joy of summer freedom.

It’s a picturesque summer scene — one that many employees can experience firsthand, even on weekdays, thanks to the widespread post-pandemic adoption of permanent work-from-home initiatives.

Yet, while remote work offers undeniable appeal, it’s not a one-size-fits-all solution for success. Many companies have chosen to embrace a hybrid model, bringing employees back to the office at least part time. According to a 2023 report by Resume Builder, an estimated 90 percent of employees will have returned to on-site work by the end of 2024.

Whether working beachside or within an office, each environment has its perks.

Below, we’re highlighting 30 companies to watch as the seasons unfold, each offering unique policies and an array of benefits.
