In this position, you will play a crucial role in supporting and building our staff augmentation division called Friends of PRPL (FoP). You will be primarily responsible for finding and retaining top talent for our clients and assisting in managing our staff augmentation contracts. A day in the life of the Talent Manager will include recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, client communications, and operational tasks. You are the "face" of PRPL to newcomers. You have a natural sense and ability to connect with others and can work with both talent and clients to solve staffing needs. Your role is to help facilitate smooth, streamlined day-to-day operations ensuring a warm and inviting culture for our talent and an exceptional, solutions-oriented, white-glove experience for our clients.

Roles Frequently Recruited: UX/UI Designers, UI Writers, Senior Designers, Bi-lingual Writers, Marketing/Digital Project Managers

**Executive/professional level creative recruitment /staffing experience required. **

RESPONSIBILITIES

RECRUITMENT/HIRING/ONBOARDING

Recruitment

  • Assist in sourcing candidates through job boards, recruitment partners, referrals, etc. Keep the resource pipeline full and the "bench warm" for our clients who have ongoing creative talent needs. In short, build our talent pool.
  • Establish an SOP for maintaining a searchable, easy-to-use, updated talent pool (via Bamboo HR or another tool).
  • Manage all job postings and job descriptions. Keep a repository of job descriptions for quick edits and modifications.
  • Schedule and coordinate all interviews.
  • Research and recommend tools related to interviewing (AI, aptitude tests, etc)
  • Follow up on all employee interviews (coordinate next steps and/or rejections).
  • Manage external recruitment communications including but not limited to our own website, LinkedIn company page, and job posting websites (Indeed, etc)
  • Ensure postings are taken down once positions are filled.
  • Attend and/or support the participation in recruitment events where appropriate.

Hiring / Onboarding

  • Handle all onboarding paperwork and processes
  • Evaluate current onboarding and work to improve and streamline SOPs
  • Coordinate and oversee Day 1 orientations for new team members
  • Coordinate, manage, deliver, and track all employee equipment related to on/off-boarding
  • Confirm that talent is fully onboarded and ready to work for clients. Work through any last-minute access issues as needed.

TALENT AND CLIENT MANAGEMENT

Talent Management / Client Satisfaction

  • Understand, and assist in building and cultivating the agency's culture and long-term strategy as it relates to staff augmentation.
  • Facilitate a strong culture through coordinating talent swag/gifts, and highlighting recognitions, birthdays, and anniversaries.
  • Work with talent to resolve any issues or concerns.
  • Conduct talent surveys for onboarding, offboarding, and mid-contract.
  • Ensure timesheets are kept up and time off requests are communicated and processed as needed.
  • Work with clients to handle and address performance issues with talent.
  • Conduct biannual client surveys.

FRIENDS OF PRPL OPERATIONS

  • Manage staff aug equipment inventory.
  • Update and maintain all contract files, Clickup (our project management tool) lists, and spreadsheets related to the day-to-day operations of Friends of PRPL.
  • Contribute to operational systems, processes, and infrastructure while looking for opportunities for improvement or revision.
  • Support software implementation and other infrastructure projects, ensuring seamless integration and communication within the team (talents and clients) is clear and consistent.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of professional experience in a staffing role that is client-facing
  • Operations mindset - detail-oriented, highly organized. Experience building and cultivating a talent pipeline.
  • Hands-on recruitment experience - sourcing and interviewing talent
  • Natural ability to establish rapport quickly with clients and talent and maintain a positive working relationship with both
  • Maintain the utmost discretion and sensitivity in handling employee issues
  • Demonstrate superior listening, writing, and speaking skills
  • Demonstrate initiative, dependability, and a willingness to jump in when new requests arise
  • Proficiency with Google suite
  • Local Orlando/Central Florida resident preferred
