What Will You Be Doing

Coordinates the implementation and activation of Local Presence community investments and sponsorships to support strategic growth and brand awareness in the North West Florida market (includes Pensacola cluster and Tallahassee cluster counties). The role will maintain a strong matrix relationship to the regional Local Presence Leadership team (Market President/Market Leaders/Sr. Director Regional Business Development), leaders who serve as liaisons to key community partners and business organizations. Effectively represent the company at community and business functions. Including providing support to Enterprise Communications, Consumer and Group Sales, CGA's, Marketing and the Florida Blue retail center initiatives to integrate Local Presence events, and strategic local relationships to help drive traffic and increase growth.

Community Partnerships and Investments/Event Management

  • Maintain a strong matrix relationship with regional Local Presence Market President and Market Leaders who develops and manages community relations/public affairs strategies in key market areas.
  • Utilize the charitable giving process to support projects and programs that support our mission, vision and values, support brand awareness and strategic growth in each market.
  • Coordinate the implementation, activation and logistical components of CSR and Local Presence events and sponsorships to support brand awareness and strategic growth in each market.
  • This includes: partnering with senior leaders, external vendors, requesting/designing program ads, activating sponsorship benefits, securing/managing volunteers, managing event calendars, managing attendee list and ensuring key players/leaders (internal and external) are present.
  • Evaluate success of each event to assist in determining future support and identify opportunities and solutions for improvement.
  • Serve as a representative for the Enterprise in the community through active participation in business, community and civic organizations.
  • Assist in the evaluation of community investment programs and identify measurable outcomes that can be reported to the Enterprise and community.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of a regional internal and external communication plan; coordinate and integrate back with Corporate to assure that messages are consistent.
  • Coordinate the appropriate Enterprise representative to serve as the spokesperson to the media and provide content for talking points, when necessary.
  • Ensure multiple budgets are managed effectively to maintain positive variance and achieve administrative budget targets.
  • Build, develop and maintain meaningful and collaborative internal and external relationships, community partnerships and key governmental contacts to expand/cultivate and grow strategic relationships.
  • Manage NWF Community Investment SharePoint Site to include budgeting, project marketing and activation of Local Presence Programs and Events.

Market Development

  • Collaborate with Local Presence and Sales and assists in sales activities and marketing initiatives, where applicable, that lead to the accomplishment of Enterprise goals.
  • Acts as regional representative to support the Corporate Social Responsibility and regional Local Presence teams
  • Collaborate with Enterprise business partners to educate and engage on impact of community work.
  • Identify partnerships and support the regional health educator and/or other internal liaisons to assist in achievement of sales goals, including multicultural sales in diverse communities.
  • Act as regional liaison for Blue Partners program

Organizational Effectiveness & Sales Support

  • Support Local Presence and Human Resources to increase Regional Great Place to Work Trust Index results to improve and or maintain employee engagement, trust and morale as required to meet CPI goals.
  • Support regional Employee Resource Groups to ensure an inclusive/respectful workplace.
  • Coordinate regional employee engagement, education and enrichment events, meetings and activities including teambuilding and community service events, two-way communications, leadership meeting and other ad hoc requests; ensure employees have received the appropriate training to serve as representatives for the Enterprise.
  • Assist in management of high-level internal campaigns such as United Way, Florida Blue Volunteers, and the Florida Blue Foundation check presentations, when necessary.
  • Support Facilities Office Services Regional Manager with onsite communications, security maintenance schedule and internal/external PEN Users contacts/mailings.
  • Support Sales Retention Manager with UPS mailings, Office Supply ordering, and internal/external communications.
  • Oversee and support Regional Management in Safety & Business Continuity, Food Drives, Year-End Events, Manager's Meeting, Staff Orientation and Office-Wide Kick-Offs & Events.
  • Host incoming EEMT staff to Panhandle Region, overseeing scheduling TWC's, Whistle-stop Tours, Town Halls, etc., including set-up, travel and all internal/external accommodations.
  • Assist NWF Sales Director and NWF Local Presence Team in Travel Arrangements, Expense Reporting, Outlook Calendars, Meeting Scheduling, and Coordination of Equipment.
  • Management of TNL Timekeeping for Panhandle NWF Sales Director, NWF Sales Team and Sales Retention Manager.
  • Liaison for Office-Wide Event Activation, Trainings, Scheduling Regional Events, offsite visitors/ incoming vendors.
  • Assist Sales Director with Sales Tracking and Data Production to aid Sales Team in marketing and sales/renewal presentations.
  • Support Sales Management and staff with reporting through databases, Excel and NWF Sales SharePoint Site and other misc tasks assigned.
  • Create and maintain monthly production reports as needed for NWF Sales Team for internal and external communications.

What You Must Have

  • 5+ years related work experience.
  • Related Bachelor's degree required
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate both internally among departments and externally with key stakeholders.
  • Excellent communications skills, including verbal and written expertise.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management.
  • Ability to work evening/weekend hours.
  • Must be able to travel to multiple locations for work (i.e. travel to attend meetings, events, conferences).

  • Knowledge of local political landscape, as well as business and community leaders. Working knowledge of GuideWell products and services
  • Bilingual communications skills, preferably English/Spanish Demonstrated experience in strategic consulting with senior executives and providing leadership and guidance on a variety of issues.

General Physical Demands

  • Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally to move objects.
  • Jobs are sedentary if traversing activities are required only occasionally.

Salary

To support your financial wellbeing, we offer competitive pay as well as opportunities for incentive or commission compensation. We also conduct regular annual reviews with pay for performance considerations for base pay increases.

  • Annualized Salary Range: $74,200 - $120,500
  • Typical Annualized Hiring Range: $74,200 - $92,700
  • Final pay will be determined with consideration of market competitiveness, internal equity, and the job-related knowledge, skills, training, and experience you bring.
