The Manager of Total Rewards will manage staff within defined work group in support of Compensation, Benefits, Retirement, Disability and/or general Total Rewards programs. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, promoting, monitoring and measuring effectiveness of Total Reward programs within area of expertise to enhance the overall employee experience.

We are looking for someone that resides in OH, FL, or NV.

Responsibilities:

  • Manages daily and overall activities of assigned unit. Hires, counsels, defines expectations, and monitors productivity, performance evaluations and management of staff within defined team.
  • Designs, implements and promotes Total Reward programs within area of expertise to enhance the employee experience.
  • Provides reports to Leadership as to the effectiveness of the Total Rewards programs. Makes recommendations to top management based on research findings and market best practices regarding programs to include in the Total Rewards package.
  • Increases awareness, understanding, appreciation of the value of the Total Rewards package that consists of base pay, incentives, benefits, retirement programs, work/life balance programs, rewards and recognition, performance management/career development, and other fringe benefits.
  • Recommends changes and/or additions to programs that reflect the changing needs of the organization and its employees.
  • Develops and implements programs to measure, improve, and reward employee performance.
  • Provides reports to management on the success of various programs designed to enhance employee performance and engagement.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Additional related experience may offset the Bachelor's Degree requirement.

Certifications:

  • Professional certification preferred: Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), etc.

Complexity of Work:

  • Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Work Experience:

  • Seven years of progressively responsible Human Resources experience with two years of demonstrated project management and leadership experience.
  • Additional related experience may offset the Bachelor's Degree requirement.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods.
  • Ability to travel throughout the hospital system. For some roles, ability to travel to other locations, including international travel.
  • Ability to operate a computer, audio visual and other office equipment.
  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information, including the ability to deliver any applicable training in person and virtually.
  • In some locations, ability to move up to 25 lbs.

Personal Protective Equipment:

  • Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
