What you’ll be doing:

  • The IT Systems Administrator will work in a diverse environment including network operations, internet service providers, data centers (e.g., Amazon, Azure, and climate-controlled, on-prem server rooms). This person will offer a wide range of services based on user support, troubleshooting, design, installation/upgrading, and configuration of operations systems, facilities, network devices, laptops, and mobile devices. This role will work in a team and individually.
  • Understand and participate in the design, development, and deployment of basic network configurations, servers, laptops, mobile devices for our end-users including client engagement team (CET), Technology Engineering (TE), Product Management, Human Resource, Finance, and other support services teams.
  • Setup and administrate configurations for anything relative to Office 365, OpenDNS, LanSweeper, Exchange and ActiveDirectory.
  • Create AP Help Desk Tickets and manage JIRA on the back end.
  • Administrate Azure and Office365.
  • Support configurations deployment, including software and hardware upgrades on all kinds of networking devices that appear in a network environment including routing protocols, network security, Wi-Fi, VoIP.
  • Consistently check manufacturers guidance for upgrades.
  • Consistently make recommendations to help improve overall IT functions and solutions for your designated areas.
  • Support / administrate system backups.
  • Monitor AV/AM, IDS, and logging operations.
  • Maintain inventory control.
  • Work in a team or alone or both from time to time.

What we look for in you:

  • 3-4 years of IT System Administrator experience with minimum 1-2 years of experience in network troubleshooting including VLANs, router setup.
  • Bachelors preferred, or Associates Degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure IT System Administrator
  • Experience with AWS cloud a plus
  • Experience with MS Intune
  • Use tools such as screwdrivers to install monitor arms, install a hard drive, or to fix a AV unit
  • Excellent work organization, self-management, communication, and interpersonal skills
