POSITION SUMMARY:

The Continuing Medical Education Coordinator designs and implements continuing medical education courses and conferences, from concept through completion, under the supervision of the CME Director. Plans, develops, fulfills accreditation requirements, markets, manages budgets, maintains paper and electronic records, and designs evaluations for conferences and courses, in accordance with internal policies and ACCME criteria, standards, and policies to address gaps in practice, meet the educational needs of target audiences, and improve clinical performance and patient outcomes.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A minimum of a High School diploma, GED, Certificate of Completion or equivalent achievement
  • 1 year minimum of CME, Continuing Professional Development (CPD), adult education, and/or meeting planning experience required, preferably in a health-care environment
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to travel throughout the JHACH service areas in a timely manner
