POSITION SUMMARY

Position Title: Client Partner

Overview:

The Client Partner at a technology consulting and services firm plays a pivotal role in managing key client relationships, driving business growth, and ensuring the successful delivery of technology solutions and consulting services. They are responsible for understanding client needs, aligning services to those needs, and fostering strategic partnerships.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong, strategic relationships with key clients, acting as the primary liaison between the firm and the client's leadership.
  • Account Strategy and Growth: Develop and execute comprehensive account strategies aligned with client objectives, focusing on account growth, revenue expansion, and long-term partnership development.
  • Understanding Client Needs: Gain an in-depth understanding of the client's business goals, challenges, and technology needs. Collaborate with internal teams to tailor solutions that address these requirements.
  • Solution Alignment: Work closely with the firm's solution architects and consultants to align technology solutions and consulting services with client needs, ensuring the delivery of value-added services.
  • Contract Negotiation and Management: Lead contract negotiations, manage contract renewals, and oversee the proposal process to ensure agreements meet both client needs and the firm's objectives.
  • Delivery Oversight: Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure the successful execution and delivery of projects, monitoring progress, quality, and adherence to agreed-upon timelines and expectations.
  • Financial Forecasting and Reporting: Forecast revenue opportunities, track account performance, and provide regular reports to senior management on account status, revenue projections, and potential risks or opportunities.
  • Industry Expertise and Thought Leadership: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and market developments. Act as a trusted advisor by providing insights and thought leadership to clients.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Consulting Experience: Proven experience in a consulting or services environment, with a focus on technology solutions and consulting services.
  • Client Management Skills: Strong track record in managing and growing client relationships, preferably in a consulting or technology services context.
  • Strategic Thinking: Exceptional strategic planning abilities to develop account strategies and align services with client objectives.
  • Communication and Influence: Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills to engage with C-level executives and stakeholders effectively.
  • Problem-solving and Decision-making: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex client challenges and make informed decisions.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Substantial experience in client-facing roles, account management, or business development within the technology consulting and services industry.

The salary for this position will be based on the selected candidate's experience level. Our target salary range is $175-200k for the base salary. In addition to a base salary, this position is eligible to receive commissions for the achievement of assigned quota(s). Our target range for variable compensation is 50%-100% of the base salary. The specific details of this commission plan will be outlined in the compensation plan that will be provided during orientation.
