What you’ll be doing:

The Business Development Representative (BDR) is responsible for managing the lead generation process and qualification of those leads. The BDR will focus on growing the business across Cask’s line of business services which includes ServiceNow-related Professional Services.

Major duties include: prospecting for identifying new leads, taking ownership of leads that have come from marketing activities, qualifying leads, and nurturing those leads to prepare them for acceptance by the sales organization.

The ideal candidate will possess both a sales and technical background that enables them to successfully build and maintain relationships, advise customers on Cask solutions and ServiceNow solutions, and grow Cask’s footprint across a defined set of industries, prospects, and customers with the Cask and ServiceNow team members to develop innovative programs and expand customer adoption. The successful candidate will work with prospects, customers, partners, Regional Directors, Regional Account Executives, and internal teams to consistently meet and exceed sales quotas.

  • Act as the liaison between our Marketing and Sales teams.
  • Seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers.
  • Boost sales and contribute to our long-term business growth.
  • Pursue, cultivate, and expand opportunities that deliver long-term value and fuel the company's growth.
  • Create strategic opportunities to grow customers, markets, and relationships.
  • Stay knowledgeable about the current market and effectively target opportunities for growth.
  • Define target audiences to understand which solutions/features interest them.
  • Brainstorm new ideas, initiatives, and activities to increase profitability and create value for the organization and customers.
  • Identify and develop alliances and partnerships, working to execute new markets, new distribution channels, and new products.
  • Conduct competitive analysis, track industry trends, and identify new markets.
  • Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities.
  • Build long-term trusting relationships with clients.
  • Set up meetings or calls between prospective clients and Account Executives.
  • Stay up-to-date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans.
  • This role does not close sales or secure direct leads to hand to sales teams.

What you’ll bring to the table:

  • 1-3 years experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales, or similar role.
  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls).
  • Track record of achieving sales quotas.
  • Experience with CRM software.
  • Highly efficient with MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts).
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to deliver engaging presentations.

Education:

  • BS degree in Marketing, Business Administration or relevant field.

Note: Base salary range is $65,000 to $85,000. This range represents the expected compensation for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range when taking into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to location; skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
