This role is a training and development associate manager in the sales organization, focused on engaging with LiftMaster sellers and select partners on connected products & services. This role will design and deliver curriculum to help LiftMaster sellers understand the benefits of strategic products and services so they can effectively train partners. Requires 4-6 years of Technical Training and Field Sales.
Job Responsibilities:

  • Create and execute training curriculum for targeted LiftMaster sellers to get buy-in, gain adoption, increase engagement, and drive new product sales and subscriptions among target partners in key business units.
  • Scale training program through the creation of webinars and online training content, where applicable.
  • Work collaboratively with the sales team to engage and educate targeted channel partners. Where applicable and in conjunction with sales, conduct field visits to train target partners on program curriculum.
  • Act as a conduit among the Channel Operations team, Channel Marketing team, Sales Team, and CG business units to bring helpful insights from the field that further drive connectivity and strategic product sales.
  • Define and achieve training program success measurements related to training delivery and its impact to units, revenue, and connected devices.
  • Act as CG's field expert on new products and services by establishing a training cadence with sellers and their partners.
  • Conduct detailed analysis of channel partners' current skills, processes, knowledge, and willingness to adopt new solutions. Determine best path to development and adoption.
  • Lead efforts to gather data, which measure the effectiveness of developed training materials and impact to sales revenue and unit targets.
  • Drive accountability among field sales team to deliver curriculum to partners.
  • Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.
  • Protect Chamberlain Group's reputation by keeping information confidential.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
  • Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed
  • Motivate and lead a high performance team by attracting, developing, engaging and retaining team members
  • Drive the performance management and compensation processes by communicating job expectations, monitoring and evaluating performance, providing feedback and facilitating employee development per the company's policies
  • Maintain transparent communication by appropriately communicating organization information to team through department meetings, one-on-one meetings, appropriate email, IM and regular interpersonal communications
  • Lead and motivate individuals and teams to create a workplace culture that is consistent with the CG mission, vision and values.


Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 4-6 years of Technical Training and Field Sales experience
  • Strong understanding of Sales life cycles and the impact of effective Sales Enablement on those life cycles; ability to effectively assess and overcome customer concerns and create a win-win outcome; strong results orientation with a proven track record of flawless execution and attention to detail
  • Strong technical background for engaging with connected products & services and affinity for consumer home automation and related products and services
  • Ability to travel within North America up to 50%
