Group Summary
The Mechatronics, Mirrors and Lighting group specializes in automotive technologies that are driving the future of mobility. Combining a deep systems knowledge to develop unique vehicle access experiences, intelligent visions systems and advanced automotive lighting technologies, MML's expertise light the path to innovation, safety and styling.
About the Role
Your Responsibilities

  • Manage banking changes and incoming check log
  • Manage, lead and support AP team: review check runs, investigate issues, train and help team grow
  • Manage and lead Senior Accountant and General Accountant
  • Maintain appropriate documentation to satisfy Audits
  • Assist in intercompany billing and reconciliation
  • Various Account analysis including aging AP, POAI etc.
  • Help lead the financial and data entry tasks for Physical Inventory
  • Month End procedures- Accruals, AP support and entry review, Reconciliations, Cost of Quality, Headcount and STAT.

Qualification Requirements:

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Interpersonal skills - Communication (Internal)
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Good organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate and work well with many different teams and people
  • Costing, Ideas, Trans4M or equivalent program Experience


Your preferred qualifications
Education and/or Experience:

  • CPA, CMA, CGA or Senior Level (preferred)
  • 2 - 3 years post secondary school (university or community college)
  • Basic Accounting
  • 3 - 5 years' experience with an accounting background preferred


Language Skills: English
Mathematical Skills: Aptitude for working with numbers with a high degree of accuracy.
Reasoning Ability: Effective trouble shooting for a variety of different situations/issues effectively.
