This is a team leader position and the first level of leadership. In this position you will lead a global team completing vital work to onboard our new colleagues. For the purposes of this job onboarding is defined as from the time an offer is made to the new colleague's first day.
This position is located in the Americas. The team is located in each region- Americas, Europe, and APAC.
This is an operations leadership position coordinating and leading daily team activities while spending a portion of your time performing the work. Although the team works within established guidelines, processes, and procedures, there is added complexity that hiring in each country is slightly different. The leader must ensure compliant and effective processes are followed. To be successful you must demonstrate attention to detail, a sense of urgency along with a high-level of teamwork, service, and agility.
Some of the things you will be doing:
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a multicultural team of onboarding specialists located in different regions, providing guidance, support, and training as needed. Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment.
- Onboarding Program Management: Implement, and continuously improve CSC's global onboarding program to deliver an exceptional experience for new hires. Coordinate with regional stakeholders to ensure all aspects of onboarding are implemented consistently, effectively and in a compliant way.
- Process Optimization: Streamline global onboarding processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness across our different regions and cultures. Identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement, recommending and implementing solutions.
- Compliance and Documentation: Ensure compliance with local employment laws and regulations in each region.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with other operational teams such as IT, Facilities, Talent Acquisition and Legal to maintain a holistic approach to onboarding that addresses logistical, technological, and compliance requirements globally.
- Cultural Sensitivity: Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and awareness in all aspects of global onboarding, adapting programs and communications to resonate with diverse cultural backgrounds and values.
What technical skills, experience and qualifications do you need:
- Excellent communication, coaching, influencing and interpersonal skills preferably across cultures.
- 5 years of experience in an operations position with one year of leadership responsibility.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities of equal importance.
Preferred
- Strong knowledge of global HR policies, procedures, and employment laws.
- Experience working with global HRIS and onboarding software platforms is a plus.
