Position Description: HR Data Analytics Intern to join the HRIS/HR Operations team to support the enhancement of Oracle Analytics Clouds (OAC) dashboards, in addition to regular and ad hoc reporting. This position will have the opportunity to impact analysis and dashboards that are accessible throughout all level of the business, allowing the opportunity to interact with various levels of leadership and different departments.
Job Responsibilities:
The HR Data Analytics intern will partner with the talent acquisition team, to enhance and build out a dashboard reporting focused candidate sourcing data and qualitative metrics around the candidate application experience, utilizing their own recent recruitment process to provide a candidate experience. This position will also aid support the initial data collection and cleaning of Affirmative Action Plan (AAP) data. The intern will participate in solutioning workforce planning challenges; providing the opportunity to work with other departments and being a part of the team that provides a solution to area with significant business implications.
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical skills
  • Dashboard building experience (OAC, Tableau, Power BI, or like products)
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative
  • Experience with HR or Financial data
  • Basic knowledge of SQL


12 Week Schedule:

  • Week 1-3: Intro to organization structure and company specific basic reporting requirements; requirement gathering with Talent Acquisition (TA) dashboard; Intro to AAP
  • Week 4-6: Build & TA dashboard; Initial data collection of applicant AAP Data, partnering with Manager, HR Operations
  • Week 7-10: End-User training on TA-Dashboard, supporting AAP data request, begin workforce planning assessment and proposals
  • Week 10-12: Continue project outline for workforce planning


Minimum Requirements:

  • Eligible candidates must be one of the following:
    • Part-time or full-time students who have completed 24+ credit hours (rising sophomores/juniors/seniors) and are enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited college or university; Part-time or full-time students enrolled in a graduate program at an accredited college or university
    • May 2024 graduate
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment, professionalism, and maturity in the workplace
  • Effective communicator in both written and spoken English
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in use of MSOffice Suite
  • 3.0 GPA or above preferred


Summer Intern Program Description:

  • Paid internship; 12 weeks starting on Monday, May 27, 2024 through August 16, 2024
  • Schedule - 40 hours/week, Monday- Friday, 9 - 5 or regular core hours
  • Hybrid environment (minimum 3 days in office location)
