Plans and schedules material procurement to support production requirements. Manages inventory levels using ERP/MRP systems, forecasts material demand, coordinates with procurement, manufacturing, engineering, and logistics, resolves quality, delivery, and pricing issues, and reports on material planning and inventory performance.

Manage procurement for complex orders, negotiate supplier terms, assess supplier performance, maintain procurement documentation and compliance, identify market trends and cost-saving opportunities, and use ERP/MRP tools (e.g., SAP) and Excel to support sourcing and supplier management.

The Buyer III manages procurement for high-value purchases, leads contract negotiations, analyzes market data, and mentors junior buyers. They ensure compliance with procurement processes and maintain supplier relationships.

Create and maintain production schedules using MRP/ERP systems, coordinate with procurement, manufacturing, engineering, and logistics, monitor progress, adjust schedules to address delays, analyze production data for improvements, support troubleshooting, and assist in developing planning policies under senior guidance.

Lead and optimize SI&OP processes connecting demand, supply, capacity, finance, and programs. Implement planning tools, develop dashboards and reports, drive cross-functional alignment, manage inventory and capacity strategies, facilitate planning cadences, and promote process adoption and continuous improvement to ensure on-time delivery and predictable program execution.

Manage the full lifecycle of subcontracts from solicitation through close-out. Develop and negotiate subcontract agreements, ensure FAR/DFAR compliance, manage supplier relationships, mitigate risk and disputes, lead subcontracting strategy, mentor junior staff, and coordinate cross-functional teams to meet schedule and cost objectives.
