Responsibilities include writing production code, developing conformance tooling, debugging protocols, leading cross-team technical initiatives, influencing network requirements, mentoring engineers, supporting AI-assisted development, and participating in on-call operations for critical financial systems.

Lead hands-on engineering for Block’s card issuing platform, specializing in card-network integrations, ISO 8583 protocols, authorization, clearing, certification, mandates, and production behavior. Build software and conformance tooling, resolve network-level issues, drive certification cycles, influence technical direction, mentor engineers, apply AI-assisted development practices, and participate in on-call support for critical financial systems.

Originate and lead brand platforms, repositioning efforts, and campaign ideas from concept through activation. Shape creative briefs, maintain brand coherence across products and media, and direct designers, writers, and production partners. Build and maintain backend systems powering Cash App Taxes, including federal and state tax logic and e-file submission.
