Lead and mentor FPGA design engineers through requirements generation, architecture, RTL coding, synthesis, simulation, lab testing, debugging, and product support. The role requires expertise in FPGA or ASIC development, VHDL or Verilog, timing-driven design, clock-domain crossing, high-speed interfaces, revision control, and Linux scripting. The engineer will provide technical oversight, develop test benches, support legacy and new designs, and collaborate across defense electronics programs.

Reviews and checks mechanical engineering drawings, CAD models, bills of material, and technical data packages. Applies GD&T and ASME drafting standards, evaluates tolerance analyses, and recommends design improvements. Create 2D fabrication, assembly, and schematic drawings using AutoCAD and Cadence layouts. Develop bills of materials and parts lists using PDM systems, manage document revisions and files, and ensure drawings accurately communicate design intent. The role requires AutoCAD expertise and familiarity with Cadence Allegro, with Creo and ENOVIA PDM experience preferred.

Leads digital circuit card and electronic module design, verification, integration, testing, troubleshooting, and transition to production. Supports requirements-driven hardware development, root-cause resolution, documentation, process improvements, and compliance with aerospace and defense standards. Collaborates with engineering, operations, quality, suppliers, and government customers while mentoring junior engineers and technicians.

Designs mechanical and electromechanical hardware from concept through detailed design and production. Performs packaging, trade studies, tolerance analysis, GD&T, CAD modeling, engineering documentation, change orders, and product definition control. Collaborates with engineering, manufacturing, procurement, technicians, and program teams; supports prototype assembly and testing; maintains engineering records; and leads small diverse teams. The hybrid role supports Electronic Warfare products in the Greater Nashua, New Hampshire region.

Design, develop, test, debug, and deploy full-stack enterprise applications and infrastructure supporting a government customer. Build front-end interfaces, Java Spring back-end services, APIs, microservices, databases, cloud services, and network infrastructure. Apply AWS, DevOps, testing methodologies, Agile, SecDevOps, cloud design, and Infrastructure as Code practices while collaborating with technical teams to solve complex problems.
