The Vertical Vice President, Technology drives engineering execution, operational excellence, and organizational capability across the Wedding & Events Vertical. Responsibilities include overseeing engineering teams, improving platform reliability, and implementing AI-enabled practices for enhanced productivity and product innovation.

Lead engineering teams to deliver a modern, composable digital platform by implementing reusable services, API-first and event-driven architectures, cloud-native distributed systems, observability, and operational excellence. Build and own mission-critical full‑stack features for a cannabis ERP and commerce platform. Work across product, design, and support to deliver high-quality code, tests, and AI-native workflows; define timelines, communicate progress, and ensure data integrity and compliance.

Design, build, and operate identity and access systems, financial operations (transfers, ledgering, reconciliation), and blockchain infrastructure. Define reliability/observability standards, lead cross-functional projects, mentor engineers, and uphold security and transactional correctness.

Design, develop, and deploy Power Platform solutions on Dataverse, including Power Automate, Power Fx, C# plugins, JavaScript, Dual Write, and Power Apps. Troubleshoot Dataverse/Dynamics CE issues, manage small projects and offshore development, build integrations and data migrations, maintain client relationships, and follow standards and project timelines.

Lead technical initiatives to design and build scalable, high-performance batch and real-time data pipelines and microservices. Use Big Data tools (Spark, Kafka, EMR, S3) and AWS services to ingest, store, transform, and query large datasets.
