The Corporate Counsel will manage commercial contracts, corporate governance, capital markets, M&A, and employment issues while collaborating with cross-functional teams. This role requires independent judgment and offers significant ownership of legal functions as Tilt prepares for growth and an IPO.

Support and enhance the Compliance Management Program by reviewing products, marketing, and disclosures; conduct monitoring and testing; investigate consumer complaints; track regulatory changes; perform client due diligence; maintain compliance documentation; and partner cross-functionally to mitigate fintech regulatory risk (consumer protection, privacy, credit reporting).

Support and scale the broker-dealer compliance program: conduct supervisory and electronic communications reviews, triage complaints, support onboarding and filings (FINRA Gateway, NASAA), review marketing and client communications for regulatory compliance, perform audits and access-control checks, and coordinate with internal teams and external partners.

Legal & Regulatory Counsel will manage regulatory risks, optimize entity structure, create compliance processes, and support fundraising from a legal perspective.

The Legal Counsel will provide legal support in crypto and fintech, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, managing risks, and drafting contracts.
