Own workforce forecasting, rostering, capacity planning, utilization tracking, and headcount modeling for a distributed 24/7 customer experience organization. Own Halter’s PLM and document-control systems, ensuring product, process, supplier, validation, BOM, and change records are accurate, traceable, current, and accessible. Administer Arena PLM, manage integrations and controlled document publication, maintain forward BOM planning and operational registers, coordinate release-boundary standards, and provide status reporting to Engineering, Quality, Production, Supply Chain, suppliers, and manufacturers. The role also supports supplier onboarding, training, audit readiness, and occasional travel to production sites.

Update and maintain accurate digital farm maps using drone and satellite imagery. Edit fences, gates, troughs, paddocks, laneways, barns, and other infrastructure based on farmer requests. Coordinate with the support team to provide progress updates, communicate with farmers when needed, and collaborate with guidance engineering to understand the product and make accurate mapping decisions. The role is primarily based at Halter’s Morrinsville R&D farm, with regular travel to Auckland headquarters.

Lead hardware fleet deployment, maintenance, and servicing across Australia. Build operational systems, troubleshoot and repair hardware in the field, run deployments (drone mapping, tower installs, collaring), train and grow a fleet team, provide on-call support, and feed field insights back to product and hardware teams to scale operations.

Field-based hardware technician responsible for maintaining on-farm collars and towers, diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware, supporting deployments, collecting and analysing hardware data, building maintenance systems, participating in on-call rotation, and frequent travel to producers across Australia.
