The Senior Software Engineer is responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining SkySlope software. This role requires collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning with a focus on quality and delivery of software projects.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will lead full stack projects, design scalable systems, mentor engineers, and ensure high-quality code delivery while driving team alignment and managing processes.

Build and scale backend systems for a high-traffic donor CRM and payments platform. Own performant SQL and realtime querying, optimize payment flows, implement AI agents, and collaborate across product and design to ship resilient, production-grade features at scale.

Build and ship end-to-end product features, debug and resolve production issues, partner with Product on UX and direction, use AI heavily for development and prototyping, and iterate quickly across the stack to improve quality and speed.

Design and implement front-end features, build high-quality user interfaces, take ownership of product and architecture decisions, collaborate with engineering team, and deliver performant, user-focused solutions.

Define target-state architecture and guide platform evolution from fragmented products to a coherent, AI-enabled SaaS platform. Lead architectural decisions, governance, prototyping, and influence engineering leadership to balance long-term design with pragmatic delivery.

Build and enhance full-stack web applications and APIs using React/TypeScript and Python. Work with PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, AWS, event-driven architectures, CI/CD, and AI-assisted development tools to prototype and improve AI-native engineering workflows.

Design fast, reliable systems that adjust spending based on cash flow, debug distributed payment systems, and turn bespoke integrations into reusable patterns.
