Seeking a senior or staff level infrastructure engineer to build and maintain scalable infrastructure for AI software development, including app hosting and SDK integration.

The Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for building and maintaining deployment automation, CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring the operational health of production deployments across federal environments, focusing on automation and compliance.

As a Database & Infrastructure Engineer, you will optimize PostgreSQL infrastructure, improve performance, build internal tools, and design data delivery pipelines for a large-scale application.

Design and deliver complex physical and cloud data center infrastructures (network, compute, storage, telephony, middleware, database). Lead capacity planning, lifecycle management, standards, and vendor partnerships. Provide expert support during incidents, produce engineering documentation, and mentor junior engineers.

Own the operational lifecycle of cloud-native data infrastructure: design and automate reliable deployments, observability, incident response, SLIs/SLOs, autoscaling and IaC, and improve platform efficiency and data freshness across GKE and Cloud Run.

Design, implement, and operate secure, scalable Linux infrastructure across on-prem and AWS with primary focus on Kubernetes/EKS. Build and automate IaC (Terraform/Ansible/CloudFormation), CI/CD pipelines (GitLab), monitoring/alerting, cluster upgrades, autoscaling, security hardening, multi-tenant isolation, and disaster recovery. Support container builds, GitLab Runners, RDS databases, compliance (SOX/SOC2), incident response, and on-call rotations while collaborating with development and QA teams to improve reliability and operational standards.

Support design, implementation, and operation of cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure. Develop Infrastructure as Code, contribute to CI/CD pipelines, monitor and troubleshoot environments, participate in incident response and on-call rotation, and collaborate with engineering teams to improve reliability, security, and automation.

Lead architecture and evolution of enterprise observability platforms (APM, infrastructure monitoring, session replay, log analytics). Define integration patterns, telemetry standards, and governance. Partner with Engineering, SRE, Product, and Infrastructure to embed observability best practices, evaluate new technologies (OpenTelemetry, distributed tracing, AI-driven observability), drive platform standardization, and manage vendor relationships to improve MTTD/MTTR and system reliability.

Build and scale the internal developer platform: create tools, services and automation (CI/CD, canaries, feature flags, access workflows) using IaC (Pulumi/Python) and Kubernetes to enable safe, fast shipping. Drive platform initiatives, mentor teams, lead AI tool adoption for engineering, participate in on-call and design/code reviews, and ship major improvements across the organization.

Join an early-stage platform team to scale and mature a mortgage origination platform. Work across the stack to improve distributed systems, performance, observability, and infrastructure tooling, and help define engineering standards and frameworks for growth.
