Ensures infrastructure complies with SOX, GxP, and 21 CFR Part 11 requirements while coordinating qualification, validation, change control, and infrastructure improvement initiatives.

Own production operations and highly available cloud infrastructure for regulated government environments. Lead incident response, root-cause analysis, disaster recovery testing, compliance operationalization, audit readiness, vulnerability management, and continuous monitoring. Build and operate infrastructure and shared engineering services for internal teams and Tailscale’s product. Responsibilities include improving observability, CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, managed services, Kubernetes, and service automation; designing, testing, and documenting software components; participating in incident response; supporting customer escalations; and improving system efficiency, scalability, and stability.

Leads the roadmap, architecture, security, and organizational adoption of CI/CD and release infrastructure.
