The Senior Data Platform Engineer will design, maintain, and enhance Hinge's data platform, including data pipelines, monitoring systems, and user feedback incorporation while ensuring data quality and system reliability.

Build and maintain dbt data models and pipelines, implement real-time ingestion with PySpark and AWS Glue, and process distributed data in Databricks. Apply software engineering practices, review Git pull requests, partner with data scientists and stakeholders, translate requirements into Jira stories, and support data governance, quality, integrations, and deployment across the enterprise.

Manage and improve outbound and inbound dialer operations for personal loans, credit cards, and loan origination outreach. Monitor campaigns, agent productivity, dialer performance, and operational KPIs. Analyze data and build dashboards to recommend efficiency improvements. Ensure compliance with FDCPA, Reg F, TCPA, and state laws, maintain business controls, support remediation, and collaborate with IT, Telephony, Risk, auditors, and business stakeholders.

Leads a team of five experienced analysts and data scientists while personally owning strategic analytics across ecommerce, health, supply chain, inventory, fulfillment, and merchandising. Partners with executives, establishes KPI and reporting standards, prioritizes the analytics roadmap, and delivers actionable business insights. The role also advances AI-native, self-service analytics capabilities, strengthens data governance and quality, and builds a high-performing analytics culture.

Develop and optimize cloud-based data lakes and pipelines supporting analytics and machine learning. Build automated workflows using Python, SQL, Dagster, dbt, and comparable tools; transform raw data for reporting; and maintain secure, compliant handling of PII and PHI in a regulated SDLC. Collaborate with data scientists, product teams, and engineers to solve technical challenges and improve the data platform.

Develop business intelligence and revenue reporting tools, automate Finance reporting processes, perform ad hoc and quantitative analyses, and translate complex data into actionable insights. The analyst will support company initiatives, present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders, and provide decision-making guidance across the organization.

Serve as the primary technical escalation point for managed services data and analytics clients. Troubleshoot and enhance Power BI, Fabric, Azure, and other analytics environments; gather requirements; translate business needs into scalable solutions; support client onboarding; maintain documentation; mentor support staff; and partner with client success and consulting teams. The role also contributes to continuous improvement, training, knowledge sharing, and AI-enabled productivity initiatives.

Own front-end tracking, reporting, dashboards, and analytics for marketing websites and growth funnels. Analyze performance, conduct ad hoc investigations, and deliver actionable recommendations to digital and web marketing stakeholders. Lead A/B testing and experimentation, interpret statistical results, support tracking and dashboard documentation, and collaborate with developers and analytics teammates. Translate business questions into technical requirements while helping marketing teams improve leads, pipeline, revenue, and ROI.

Administer and optimize P21/SQL databases, design logical and physical data models, manage SSRS reports and SSIS packages, ensure security, backups, and recovery, tune performance, collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors, and document database procedures and policies.

Analyzes customer and business requirements, data, test results, and program outputs to implement accurate batch data fulfillment solutions. Serves as a liaison between business, technical, and operational teams; configures systems, executes test plans, troubleshoots processing issues, maintains documentation, and ensures compliance with legal and operational standards. The role also supports process improvements, cost reduction, quality initiatives, and timely program delivery using proprietary systems.
