Build and overhaul QA systems (inspection planning, FAI, NCR/CAPA, root cause), drive AS9100D compliance, support investigations and MRB, define metrics and reporting, partner with design and manufacturing on DFM and control plans, and serve as the senior product quality engineering contact across the business.

The VP of Engineering will lead a team of engineers in the design and production of aerospace propulsion systems, balancing technical execution and strategic direction to ensure mission success.

Lead turbopump/turbomachinery technology development across multiple engine platforms. Perform conceptual design, trade studies, preliminary and detailed design, and analysis. Collaborate with design teams to produce manufacturable, flight-ready systems, support engine testing, and troubleshoot performance and reliability issues.

Lead design, integration, commissioning, and sustainment of propulsion test stands, GSE, fluid-mechanical and electrical/controls systems. Own instrumentation/DAQ, run static-fire campaigns, perform hazard and risk assessments, obtain permits, and provide hands-on troubleshooting and cross-functional test leadership at remote test sites.

Perform high-fidelity CFD and 1D steady-state/transient fluid modeling for solid rocket motor systems. Support design, testing, and qualification by analyzing data, correlating models with tests, driving design improvements, participating in reviews and failure investigations, and mentoring peers while producing technical reports and documentation.

Lead conceptual and preliminary turbomachinery design as an SME, perform design trades and analyses, collaborate on manufacturable, flight-ready designs, support engine test and development, and troubleshoot performance and reliability issues for existing turbopumps.
