Design, analyze, and qualify solid rocket motor primary and secondary structures and propulsion elements. Lead clean-sheet designs, development and qualification campaigns, prototype assembly and testing, test-data review, technical documentation, and design changes. Generate and approve CAD models and drawings, resolve discrepant hardware, manage schedules and design risks, coordinate with cross-functional and procurement teams, and mentor junior engineers. Designs must support additive manufacturing, automation, high-rate production, and reduced touch labor.

Owns configuration management for aerospace hardware CAD models, eBOMs, product structures, assemblies, and technical data packages. Coordinates engineering, manufacturing, quality, testing, and program management to maintain accurate product configurations through development, production, testing, and shipment. Incorporates design-for-manufacturing feedback, supports work instructions, validates mechanical interfaces, and advances digital and model-based engineering practices.

Develop, implement, and validate guidance, navigation, and control software for aerospace flight systems. Responsibilities include translating requirements and models into embedded software, running simulations, supporting hardware-in-the-loop and flight testing, analyzing test data, and contributing to verification, traceability, risk mitigation, and technical documentation. The engineer collaborates with systems, avionics, propulsion, software, and test teams to deliver safe, reliable, mission-ready GNC capabilities.

Lead platform engineering and architecture for cloud, on-prem, and manufacturing environments. Implement IaC and GitOps (Terraform, Helm, ArgoCD/Flux), container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker), DR/HA, telemetry (Prometheus, Grafana), DevSecOps integrations, and automated AI model pipelines. Mentor engineers, author technical designs, and align software, IT, networking, and security to enable reliable, compliant mission-critical deployments.

Lead the definition, validation, and maintenance of system-level requirements for hypersonic systems, overseeing verification and qualification processes.

The role involves conducting structural and thermal analyses of solid rocket motors, supporting design, validation, and collaboration with engineering and manufacturing teams.

Support materials selection, failure analysis, testing, and manufacturing process development for aerospace metals. Author materials specs, qualify suppliers and processes, develop additively manufactured material allowables, and build internal materials lab capabilities.

Provide technical leadership for structural and/or thermal-fluids analysis of aerospace vehicles and propulsion systems. Perform FEA, fatigue, fracture, thermal-stress, CFD, and 1D fluid modeling; validate models against test data; support loads development, anomaly investigations, and nonconforming hardware disposition. Collaborate with design, systems, manufacturing, and test teams while improving analysis methods, mentoring engineers, and supporting safety-critical aerospace systems.
