Leads and scales a global 300-person R&D organization across Israel and Eastern Europe. Owns technical vision, architecture, execution, reliability, scalability, and performance for core products and revenue systems. Partners with Product and senior leadership to prioritize growth initiatives, develops leadership pipelines, and drives engineering excellence across multidisciplinary teams of engineers, algorithm experts, and data scientists.

Build and scale Java backend services, recommendation infrastructure, and data-processing pipelines for Taboola’s performance advertising platform. Design reliable microservices, search and event-driven systems handling billions of events and terabytes of data. Own services end to end, including production monitoring, incident response, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement. Collaborate with product and architecture teams, manage integration projects, mentor engineers, and use AI-assisted development tools.

Own and optimize the complete internet traffic path from CDN edge through anycast, load balancers, service mesh, and upstream services. Responsibilities include infrastructure-as-code for proxy and CDN configuration, capacity planning, failover and drain procedures, cross-layer incident investigation, on-call participation, incident response, and post-mortem remediation. The role requires deep networking, Linux, Kubernetes, proxy, CDN, coding, and observability expertise at massive scale.

Lead and manage the GTM Applications team owning the Salesforce roadmap, architecture, and delivery. Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Services to build scalable GTM solutions, drive GenAI adoption, establish governance, manage vendors, and ensure secure, high-quality business applications.

Build and maintain high-scale recommendation advertising products across backend and client-side code. Own features from design through production, testing, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance. Develop resilient services serving billions of daily requests, create innovative ad formats, analyze performance data, and build AI agents and workflows for code reviews, debugging, anomaly investigation, and validation. Collaborate with Product, Data, and UX teams in a hybrid Tel Aviv office.

Maintain and scale hybrid high‑availability infrastructure across on‑prem, public cloud, and AI/ML Kubernetes clusters. Build automation and internal tooling, manage IaC pipelines, and optimize performance and cost. Troubleshoot full‑stack issues from CDN edge to Linux kernel, run monitoring/alerting, participate in on‑call rotations, lead incident response and post‑mortems.

Lead a 4–6 engineer team building Taboola's core data platform for reporting, billing, ML training, and analytics. Set technical direction, own production reliability, coach engineers, drive cross-team alignment, and stay ~30–40% hands-on while prioritizing roadmap and platform evolution.
