The role also develops database standards, evaluates new technologies, collaborates with business teams, and supports scalable, secure, highly available database systems.

Build and maintain Airwallex's 3DS card authentication infrastructure and payment APIs. Design, develop, and operate reliable services, collaborate with global teams and financial partners, troubleshoot production issues, and own critical components of the online payment processing flow.

Architect and implement cloud infrastructure for Spend product initiatives, including new services, data center migrations, and data pipeline modernization. Lead the design and development of scalable backend features across Salesforce and supporting systems. Build resilient integrations and APIs with GTM platforms such as Marketo, design reliable data models, resolve complex production issues, and reduce technical debt. Champion engineering quality, testing, and code review practices while translating business requirements into scalable systems and applying AI coding tools responsibly.
