Maintain and optimize a global fleet of injection molding tooling, integrate replacement tools, investigate production and supplier quality issues, and implement corrective actions. The role develops SOPs and sustainment workflows, drives continuous improvement, and collaborates with Quality, Purchasing, Continuous Improvement, and Manufacturing teams. It requires onsite work in Santa Ana, California, with up to 10% travel to vendors and company locations.

Develops and improves manufacturing processes, validates and implements equipment, documents standardized procedures, and supports root-cause analysis. The role applies 5S and lean manufacturing methods, performs testing, validates repairs and calibrations, and identifies efficiency, quality, and safety improvements. Owns global part qualification and new product introduction processes for high-volume manufacturing. Leads injection molding tooling programs, design transfers, supplier qualification, and production releases across domestic and international sites. Partners with product development and operations on DFM, first article inspection, and NPI handoffs while establishing standardized processes and playbooks. Requires strong project management, manufacturing engineering expertise, and proficiency in PPAP, FAI, GD&T, and supplier quality processes.

Design, build, and operate backend services, APIs, data models, event-driven systems, serverless services, and frontend applications supporting grading operations. Own complex projects from concept through production, select appropriate architectures, troubleshoot issues, write technical documentation, mentor engineers, collaborate with Product and Operations, and participate in on-call support. Work across .NET, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Vue.js, cloud infrastructure, databases, integrations, and observability tooling.

Build and operate backend services, APIs, data models, event-driven pipelines, internal applications, and integrations supporting high-volume grading operations. Develop end-to-end features with JavaScript, TypeScript, and Vue.js; troubleshoot data, service, integration, and UI issues; contribute to system design, testing, observability, documentation, and on-call support. Collaborate with Product, Technology, and Operations teams to create scalable systems and improve engineering practices.

Build and operate full-stack web applications across TypeScript/NestJS backend services, PostgreSQL databases, and Next.js/React frontends. Modernize legacy Java and PHP systems into AWS-hosted microservices, implement testing and observability, and deploy with Docker and infrastructure as code. Own multi-sprint features independently, participate in on-call and quality initiatives, mentor engineers, review code, and use AI coding tools responsibly throughout development.

Lead technical direction and multi-quarter delivery for a platform modernization effort. Architect TypeScript, Java, PHP, and cloud systems; guide monolith decomposition, distributed services, databases, observability, security, and operational excellence. Mentor engineers, coordinate stakeholders, establish engineering standards, and lead responsible adoption of AI-assisted development across the organization.

Lead and mentor the software engineering team responsible for PSA Set Registry, a large-scale consumer web and mobile product. Drive architecture, development, delivery, code quality, release management, production troubleshooting, and technical strategy. Partner with product, design, and business teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions while promoting agile practices, collaboration, continuous learning, and an inclusive engineering culture.

Design and build scalable backend architecture for PSA Set Registry, including cloud-based services, APIs, databases, microservices, event-driven systems, and batch processing. Own features through design, implementation, testing, deployment, and production support. Collaborate with product and engineering teams, troubleshoot complex systems, improve applications and data models, contribute technical designs and documentation, and apply security and monitoring best practices.

Lead architecture and delivery for Beckett’s software modernization, including NestJS and TypeScript microservices, Java and PHP legacy migrations, full-stack platforms, databases, AWS infrastructure, and distributed systems. Establish engineering standards for security, testing, observability, and operations. Mentor engineers, coordinate multi-quarter projects, manage cross-system risks, and guide responsible adoption of AI coding tools and LLM technologies.
