Lead cross-functional teams to develop automotive lighting products. Serve as primary technical contact, manage project lifecycle from RFQ to serial production, negotiate technical requirements, implement mechanical/electronic/optical concepts, maintain Magna PDP documentation, support DV/PV testing and change control, and ensure timely delivery.

Design and troubleshoot electrical and control systems, program ABB robots, Allen-Bradley PLCs, and Keyence vision systems, manage vendors, drive continuous improvement, ensure safety compliance, and travel (~25%) for equipment launches and commissioning.

Designs, programs, installs, troubleshoots, and maintains production equipment controls. Develops PLC ladder logic (Siemens), robot interfacing and programs, improves robotic welding cycle times, trains staff, and supports quality, safety, and plant goals.

Design and optimize high-pressure aluminum die-cast tooling (dies, seals, cooling, vacuum). Run casting simulations, lead tooling FMEAs, improve cycle time, provide trim tool support and troubleshooting to casting divisions.

Coordinate and maintain plant quality systems, develop control plans, FMEAs, audits, sampling and testing methods, monitor customer satisfaction, and support training and inspection processes to ensure manufacturing quality standards are met.

Lead controls engineering for high-volume automotive seating manufacturing: supervise controls team, design and commission PLC/HMI/SCADA systems, troubleshoot production issues, develop robotic, vision and safety systems, drive equipment improvement projects, and maintain technical documentation.

Develop, program, install, and maintain PLC and robotic controls for production equipment. Troubleshoot and optimize PLC ladder logic and robot interfacing, implement cycle-time improvements for welding/assembly, train personnel, support quality/safety standards, and collaborate with vendors and contractors.

Designs and releases internal/external CAD data and drawings to support new product launches and production programs. Leads design activities, performs CAE and DFMEA tasks, liaises with customers and suppliers, mentors junior staff, manages PDP deliverables (IP searches, CDR, CAE, design freeze, data release), supports prototyping and manufacturing, and documents designs and patents.

Develop and validate static and dynamic discrete-event and agent-based simulation models to improve throughput, de-bottleneck processes, optimize layouts and material flow, analyze KPIs, run what-if scenarios, and generate actionable reports for automotive production plants.
