Design and develop automotive body and chassis components in CAD, create parametric surfaces from scans/point clouds, produce 2D drawings with GD&T, prepare and maintain BOMs, apply manufacturing process knowledge (stamping, casting, hydroforming, bending, welding), coordinate with process partners, support engineering release, and participate in DFMEA to optimize designs for manufacturability and functionality.

Lead R&D activities for joining technologies in automotive components: design and validate components, support customers, run tests and prototypes, perform DFMEA/DFM/DFA/GD&T, manage engineering changes, and drive continuous improvement and VA/VE.

Designs and implements quality programs, sampling systems, tests and equipment. Investigates and solves manufacturing quality issues, supports suppliers, manages projects, and champions continuous improvement. May supervise staff and develop quality standards and procedures.

Lead and oversee EE aspects of automotive lighting projects: manage budget, schedule, resources and quality; ensure ASPICE and V-model compliance; manage risks (thermal, EMC, supplier delays, LED availability); coordinate change control and readiness with quality; support customer audits (ASPICE, IATF 16949); lead SYS/HW/SW project teams and coordinate development with program management.
