Develop event-driven workflows, validation and transformation logic, resilient APIs, persistence models, auditability, testing frameworks, and error handling. Collaborate with product, editorial, communications, press, planning, metadata, and engineering stakeholders to replace manual publishing processes with scalable, traceable automation.

Lead architecture and technical direction for FreeWheel’s high-throughput Buyer Cloud Ad Serving platform. Design scalable, low-latency distributed backend services; optimize performance; drive reliability, observability, and cloud-native adoption; establish engineering standards; collaborate across Product, Infrastructure, SRE, and Data Engineering; and mentor engineers. The role requires operating production systems processing billions of auctions and potentially millions of requests per second, with occasional nights and weekends as needed.
