Lead the Web Infrastructure team responsible for Notion’s web client architecture, performance, reliability, and shared design systems. Lead a platform engineering team that builds and operates Notion's search and context infrastructure (lexical and semantic retrieval, indexing, streaming/batch pipelines, and agent context primitives). Set roadmap balancing foundational investments (latency, cost, reliability, security, enterprise readiness) and fast iteration, own SLOs/observability/on-call practices, partner with product and AI teams, hire and grow engineers, and drive platform reliability and scalability at scale.

Partner with strategic Japanese customers to design and build migrations, integrations, and production AI workflows using Notion Workers, Custom Agents, and MCP. Deliver end-to-end technical implementations, produce reusable runbooks and playbooks, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and improve reliability, governance, and operational patterns for Professional Services.

The role involves developing and maintaining Notion's async task runner and configuration management platform, ensuring reliability and scalability while collaborating across teams.

Design and implement technical solutions for customer engagements, focusing on large-scale enterprise deployments while collaborating with various teams.

Lead the rollout and ongoing ownership of Go as a first-class backend platform at production scale. Build reliable, scalable service patterns, developer tooling, golden paths, and guardrails; improve CI, deployments, observability, and developer workflows; and deliver a Go platform v1 that enables production teams to operate services at scale within 90 days.

Lead the Content Onboarding engineering team in shaping the technical and product vision for content importers, exports, and internal administrative tooling. Develop multi-quarter strategy, guide technical decisions, partner with product and engineering leaders across time zones, and establish reliable operating standards. The role also involves developing senior engineers, building a high-performing distributed team, and applying AI to improve product judgment, prototyping, and engineering quality.
