Winter software engineering intern responsible for identifying software bottlenecks and designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining, and improving software. Set global cloud architecture standards for Rubrik Professional Services and serve as the final technical authority on strategic, high-risk engagements. Lead multi-region and multi-cloud designs, advise executive customers, partner with Sales and Product, define service offerings, and build reusable reference architectures, automation, templates, and delivery accelerators. Mentor architects, establish technical standards, influence product roadmaps, represent Professional Services externally, and guide cloud security, compliance, data protection, and cyber resilience practices.

Lead the Polaris Platform engineering team and drive its product roadmap from inception through implementation. Build scalable, reliable distributed systems for Rubrik Security Cloud, improve engineering practices, foster metrics-driven continuous improvement, and support team self-organization. Coach and develop engineers, guide senior contributors, collaborate with Product, Architecture, and Program Management, and work with Support to solve customer problems.

Design, build, and maintain large-scale, fault-tolerant cloud data protection services for SaaS applications. Develop backup and recovery systems, APIs, administrative UIs, monitoring, automation, and build infrastructure. Troubleshoot scalability, stability, and critical production issues; collaborate with product and customer-facing teams; lead projects, conduct code reviews, and mentor junior engineers.

Sets global cloud architecture standards, serves as the senior technical escalation point for strategic multi-cloud engagements, and advises executive customers. Leads complex architecture workshops, develops reference architectures and automation, mentors architects, influences product roadmaps, and improves professional services scoping and delivery. Requires deep AWS and Azure expertise, strong cloud security, data protection, automation, and enterprise architecture experience, with occasional travel.

Lead a distributed engineering team to drive roadmap and deliver high-quality SaaS and on‑prem storage infrastructure. Remove blockers, apply first-principles to complex systems, champion engineering excellence, collaborate with cross-site stakeholders, and grow engineers through coaching and career development.

Build and improve cloud-native data protection software using distributed systems and public cloud technologies. Responsibilities include designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining, and enhancing software, while managing project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. The role requires strong software engineering fundamentals, problem-solving, collaboration, and the ability to work independently on complex projects.

Design, develop, and deliver distributed systems solutions for Rubrik’s Atlas data platform. Responsibilities include defining architectural principles, prototyping, coding production-quality systems, and guiding multiple teams. Work spans cloud-backed file systems, optimized data formats, deduplication, compression, resiliency, scalability, performance tooling, asynchronous programming, snapshotting, data integrity, security, and immutability.

Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable, fault-tolerant backend systems and services. Build cloud data ingestion pipelines, analysis engines, anomaly detection systems, and customer insights across multiple cloud providers. Own solutions end to end, identify performance bottlenecks, ensure production scalability, and collaborate with product, design, and engineering stakeholders in an agile environment.
