Develop CAD models, installation drawings, routing solutions (EWIS, hydraulic, ECS, fuel, pneumatic), perform fitment and tolerance analyses, define installation strategies, support procurement/fabrication and prototype builds, and coordinate across manufacturing, structures, avionics, systems, and test teams through design reviews and BOM management.

Design and develop complex electro-mechanical launch and recovery mechanisms for autonomous UAVs. Own concept through drawing release, perform kinematic and structural calculations, run FEA, prototype and test designs, and support integration and flight testing with cross-functional teams.

Design, build, and operate structural test stands and fixtures with hydraulic actuation and sensor instrumentation. Develop and execute test plans, automate data collection and analysis in Python, perform FEA, correlate test results with design, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate mechanical performance and safety.

Design and implement tactical autonomy algorithms and high-performance software for unmanned air/land/sea platforms. Build behavior architectures, integrate classical and learning-based methods, run simulations and field tests, analyze mission data, and support defense programs and deployments.

Design and implement novel real-time computer vision algorithms in C++, develop and maintain C++ CV pipelines for autonomous systems, integrate deep learning models with perception systems, collaborate with AI/robotics/optical engineers, and keep up with academic research to deliver reliable edge solutions.

Produce and manage technical documentation for the X-BAT platform across development, flight test, and operations. Work with engineers and SMEs to translate avionics, autonomy, and system designs into operator and maintenance manuals, procedures, diagrams, and training materials. Maintain documentation standards, version control, and rapid updates driven by flight test and operational feedback.

Lead technical execution of operational autonomy for collaborative combat aircraft, owning architecture, flight test, integration, verification, and customer engagement. Drive delivery of mission-ready autonomy from development to fielding, build and mentor engineering teams, and ensure technical governance, readiness, and operational performance in contested environments.

Own and deliver the X-BAT flight control system across all flight phases. Design control allocation for over-actuated systems, develop high-fidelity 6DOF simulations, define and execute V&V strategies (including Monte Carlo and HIL), diagnose sim-to-flight mismatches, support flight test operations, integrate control with propulsion/aero/actuation/sensors/autonomy, and mentor engineers.
