Serve as the electrical SME for V-BAT fleet support, diagnose and troubleshoot avionics, power-distribution, harness, connector, and intermittent electrical issues, coordinate across avionics, software, and RF teams, maintain schematics and troubleshooting docs, and develop field-ready repair guides and feedback to design and quality teams.

Provide technical ownership for V-BAT airframe and structural sustainment across the fielded fleet. Evaluate damage, fatigue, corrosion, and failures; recommend repairs, inspections, replacements, or escalations. Develop and approve repair instructions, inspection criteria, and service guidance. Partner with Fleet Support, Quality, Manufacturing, MRB, and Configuration Management to ensure safe, documented, and executable sustainment outcomes.

Lead and mentor a team integrating and validating the Hivemind autonomy platform across SIL, HIL, and flight environments. Drive architecture and tooling for integration, review logs/telemetry/rosbags, triage cross-system defects, partner with Engineering/Product/Program teams, and ensure capabilities meet product and customer requirements while remaining hands-on in system integration and debugging.

Design and test wire harnesses and cable assemblies for autonomous UAVs. Perform electrical and environmental analysis, prototype and test harnesses, and collaborate with avionics, systems, and manufacturing teams for integration and reliability.

Design and integrate avionics electro-mechanical systems from concept through production. Create 3D CAD layouts, define electrical interconnects and harnesses, perform structural/thermal/FEA analyses, ensure EMI/EMC and environmental standards compliance (DO-160, MIL-STD), collaborate with electrical engineers on PCB constraints, and support verification and validation.

Lead manufacturing process development and production scale-up for jet subassemblies. Define BOM/process flows, design ergonomic workstations, create operator work instructions, run time studies and SPC, implement error-proofing and ECOs, partner with quality, and mentor engineers to improve throughput, reduce costs, and ensure production readiness.

Lead system architecture, requirements, and integration for next-generation autonomous UAS. Define system behavior, perform MBSE modeling and safety analyses, conduct trade studies, and support flight test and deployment. Coordinate with autonomy, hardware, software, propulsion, and DoD stakeholders to deliver mission-capable airborne platforms.

Lead and grow a 5–10 engineer autonomy integration team for V-BAT/X-BAT, owning delivery, hiring, mentoring, and technical health. Drive integration of autonomy software (mission behaviors, VTOL transitions, multi-agent coordination), collaborate tightly with aircraft, perception, and capability teams, run ICDs and field tests, and support live exercises and deployments (20–30% travel).

Lead design, analysis, and integration of avionics thermal management for unmanned aircraft. Develop and validate analytical, numerical, and CFD models, plan and run thermal tests, correlate data, advise PCBA and electrical design, and present technical findings while mentoring peers and driving robust thermal solutions.

Assemble, instrument, and test large-scale aerospace prototypes and flight hardware. Fabricate fixtures and machine parts, install strain gauges and sensors, integrate DAQ, perform static and dynamic mechanical tests, document results, and maintain shop and inventory. Support prototyping, repairs, and improvements to testing and fabrication processes.
