Manage WHOOP’s Mac and Windows endpoint fleets throughout the device lifecycle, from deployment through disposition. Engineer MDM, vulnerability patching, security policies, monitoring, observability, reporting, and automation aligned with HIPAA standards and SLA commitments. Responsibilities include sensor and signal-chain development, circuit design, experimentation, system characterization, data analysis, validation, root-cause investigations, and hardware debugging. Partners cross-functionally with mechanical, firmware, signal processing, and research teams to define requirements and improve sensing performance. Provides technical leadership and mentorship while remaining hands-on throughout prototyping and design iteration.

Develops and deploys mechanical test fixtures and systems for product development and mass production. Responsibilities include translating test requirements into robust designs, applying tolerance analysis and GD&T, collaborating with contract manufacturers, leading fixture debugging and root-cause investigations, maintaining CAD and production documentation, and supporting NPI and production builds. The role also integrates electrical and instrumentation elements, evaluates fixture capability using manufacturing data and statistical methods, and drives cross-functional fixture improvements.

Develops electrical and electromechanical manufacturing test fixtures from prototypes through mass production. Designs board-level interfaces, wiring, harnesses, instrumentation, and automated test integrations; debugs and qualifies fixtures; creates production documentation; and partners with engineering teams and contract manufacturers on deployment, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.

Designs and maintains iOS connectivity components linking WHOOP hardware, mobile apps, and cloud systems through BLE, Wi-Fi, and other protocols. Develops background services, synchronization and data-transfer pipelines using Swift and Combine; improves performance, power efficiency, reliability, and architecture. Collaborates with firmware, mobile, and cloud engineers, diagnoses distributed-system issues, documents solutions, and supports app releases, testing, signing, and App Store submission.

Supports product quality for hardware development from concept through launch. Responsibilities include quality planning, risk management, DFMEA and PFMEA, validation, process capability, supplier and manufacturing quality, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, data analysis, NPI builds, and launch-readiness reviews. Partners cross-functionally with engineering, operations, suppliers, and contract manufacturers. Requires up to 15% international travel and relocation to Boston, Massachusetts.
