Responsibilities include GNC design and analysis, flight control software development and verification, sensor/actuator selection, interfacing with systems and program teams, managing cost/schedule/risk, supporting satellite integration, test, and on-orbit operations, and providing technical leadership and mentorship as the REA for program GNC delivery.

Design, develop, test, and maintain embedded application software for air-domain missions. Translate customer requirements into software architecture, perform unit/integration testing, support system integration and verification, participate in peer reviews, and produce software documentation while meeting safety, regulatory, and customer standards.

Support software configuration control for the ESS - MPA Phase 3 program: review software documentation and submittals, manage CDRL/SDRL and submittal schedules, generate CM records, verify deliveries, support change boards and audits, and coordinate with procurement and subcontractors to ensure timely data submissions.

Design, analyze, and verify RF, digital, and optical satellite communications payloads across lifecycle. Support requirements, trade studies, algorithms, simulations (link, capacity, performance), integration, testing, and supplier oversight. Develop analysis tools and participate in proposals and design reviews.

Develop and integrate real-time aircraft and ground mission software for airborne command-and-control systems. Participate in requirements, design, coding, unit/integration testing, peer reviews, and agile team activities. Support OMS/OCS interfaces, simulation/prototyping, and provide technical leadership to junior engineers.
