Build and support scalable production web applications while improving engineering workflows, deployment processes, code reviews, and CI/CD practices. The role includes mentoring engineers, creating technical documentation and training, troubleshooting legacy and new codebases, evaluating tools, and collaborating with Brazil- and US-based teams. DevOps, SRE, platform engineering, Golang, and Ruby experience are advantageous.

Lead and grow a small engineering pod: manage, mentor, and develop engineers; improve development and delivery processes; partner with engineering leadership on strategy; drive department-wide initiatives (hiring, career development, budgets); sponsor guilds and cross-functional projects; collaborate with Product, Design, and Marketing to deliver high-impact work while promoting continuous improvement and Teachable values.

Design and implement automation and CI/CD improvements to streamline the software development lifecycle. Identify bottlenecks in engineering workflows, optimize deployment processes, and enhance code review and release reliability across a multi-service platform. Collaborate with teams to deliver production-ready software and platform enablement initiatives.
